I was taken to court last year for an old unpaid cc.Well at the time I was unaware of the collection laws and such until I found this site last year and started doing research and things on the collection laws especially in my state(PA) I did not send out a dv letter until after the 30 day period.Needless to say I went to court, actually 3 times,1st time they asked for continuance because they did not have the validation I asked for and I would not budge until they did.2nd time I showed but apparently they had asked for another continuance because they could not be there.

I've received several messages from CCB. I already looked up on your site their address. I want to send the debt validation letter but in their messages they do not give out any account or creditor info. In my letter what info should I put ? Thanks ! P.S. I really don't want to call them & have to hear how horrible a person I am etc.

I have at least 8 or 9 payday loans and I'm about to go crazy. I have a company (EME Marketing) trying to put me in jail!!! I don't know how I'm going to get out of all this debt. I should have been smart enough to stay away from them but I thought it was a good idea and plus I needed the money so badly. I was on maternity leave after having my baby girl and I thought I could just get this one to help smooth things over until I could get back to work. BIG MISTAKE!! I haven't caught up since. What can I do?

This past summer I dealt with these people in regards to my son's medical bills. For the last week, I again, have been dealing with them. They will not leave me be! I'm now trying to figure out the insurance myself. I've checked the EOB's and services online and I think i see where I can clean up one of the dates of services, but another one I'm still investigating. Talk about a headache and a half!

Just a question for those that know about credit reporting. I received a credit report from Experian recently and noticed that Providian had sold my account to Unifund. I filed bankruptcy in 2004 they sold my account in late 2003. They did not notify me and I never received a letter from Unifund. Both of these companies are on my credit report. Providian says account closed/sold and Unifund says account in collections as of June 2007. So they have been updating it.

SOS - I've monitored this site on and off for a couple of months; I have more knowledge on PDL/credit issues then I did before. I thank you. I have unsecured installment/signature loan with a local company (Illinois). Yes, I voluntarily signed a WAGE ASSIGNMENT. I am a union worker; in the midst of contract renewal. There is a possibility that it will require federal mediator intervention.

I need help! I had quite a few pdls out and have been attempting to make arrangements for payments but there has been loss of income in my household since Nov.I've been getting phone calls from TLC (TelCollect) in response to a loan from CashNetUSA. My Original loan was for $300 or $350 and I know that per FL state law that there can be no rollovers and PDL fees are limited to 10% of amount borrowed plus a max fee of $5 for using the stated verification database. I've paid multiple rollover fees but have no record as I kept all of my banking online until my account was closed.

I have 8 payday loans that i need help with. Ihave been reading on you site and i did close my bank account.i am hoping that these placs will work with me. I have my doubts. Who do i talk to when i call them.

When submitting a wage assignment do i need to email this or fax it. Also what do i say. Thanks you guys are great..............
