Hello all and of course i need help please. I received today a cause/judgement from my Justice of the Peace in my district/county (Texas)of a claim filed by the, as the paper work put it, "Plaintiff that appeared through attorney of record." this was filed by Palisades Collection, LLC.

How do I get out of debt?

Sorry it got a little long! Hello, Well I just figured I’d put my story out there and see if the phenomenal site can give me some advice and guidance. Ok I’m 18 years old, and unfortunately I’m in debt already! I started getting in debt when I was 16. I acquired a car loan, and borrowed some money from my wealthy grandma. Anyways 2 years later I know have 1 car loan with a balance of 6,527.23 I pay 200.00 / month @ 6.84 % apr. I also have 1 personal unsecured loan through the same bank with a balance of 786.11-I pay 100/month @ 14.50 % apr.

Just wonder what others think. IMHO i think we will see more and more people on this site and more companies going to court to settle accounts.

Perhaps I might find somebody surfing the board that has enough knowledge of law *cough (lawstudent or hockeyman)* that could entertain this thought. Well here it goes: I have a question about Sherman Acquisitions, mainly lvnv funding llc. I am aware that they like to manufacture the infamous Allison B. Moon affidavits. According to some of the source I have checked into this person appears to be fictional. Nobody seems to know this person let alone actually locate her/him/it.

I am being sued for an old Debt. I have all the documentation that shows the debt collector failed to validate the debt. Thank you

Hi all I received letter from RJM Acquisitions offer me 60% if i paid once times. pretty cool ha? I owned around $1200 and if i paid $500 they will credit full amount what i own.( will paid them soon) This sound may be crazy.....I talk to my friend about the collection and he suggest me call ask them to buy out my other debt from other collection agency so they can give me a great offer. what you take on this? I never heard something like this before.

My now ex-wife ran up over $20,000.00 on two of my credit cards without my knowledge until it was too late. Palisades is now coming after me. I was told that since I'm retired they can not do anything to me except harass me.Is this true? Thanks for your help.

I took out a 200 payday loan in august. sometime that month I lost my debit card and changed accounts. I waited for national money store to call me so I could make payments but nothing until 1/9/08 when an investigator lee called and said if I didnt pay 660.00 they would summons me and send me to jail. she said I would have 6 counts against me one of which was fraud and if I had been to jail before. I got them to take 200.00 and she said if I didnt have the rest 2/1 they would continue with the charges. she said they would pull me over in my car and arrest me on he spot.
