Three things popped up on my credit report, all from US Dept of Education (not sure why three, I only had one student loan). I know my loan was a Direct Loan. I have been on deferments for years- basically when I was attending school I got pregnant and had a threatened pregnancy and had to quit school.

Okay, I have a mess on my hands! First of all, I have been separated from my spouse for over 2 years and have done everything within my power to get a disillusionment, but she will not follow through on it. She approached me with an alternative that she would be willing to sign a disillusionment if I would agree to file Bankruptcy with her before filing for divorce. She has loans that are not being paid through Cash Call, numerous payday loans, tons of credit cards, over 40 medical bills.

I was wondering whether people actually feel comfortable in sharing debt amount in public like our forums. Do you guys feel comfortable in sharing your debt amount at DebtCC forums? Nelly

I've never heard of this. How hard is it to get reported to this thing. I've bounced a few checks in my time, and closed a few accounts rather then bounce checks. But as far I know, i havn't been reported to these folks. At least as far as I know. I 've opened accounts the last few years at Chase, 5/3, U.S Bank and a credit union with no problems. Is it hard to get reported to these people??

Hi, new to the forums and site...here's my situation/problem: I'm an attorney in Las Vegas...I make pretty good money, almost 5k a month after taxes...I get $2400 and some change direct deposited into my bank account every other week.... My problem is bad credit and a series of payday loans...I have several outstanding payday loans, all storefront, all in the Vegas area....they are all current....I've had history will all the companies, some close to 2 year history, 2 are recent, not much history, I'd venture to guess that I'm one of their "prize customers" because I frequently roll-over the

hi everybody, i'm just checking in to see how everyone is doing. i don't really have much time to post because of my new job. so far, i like the job and the people on the job. it is much better than my last job. currently, i am working temp, but in about a month, i will be will hired on, and then i will make more money. i am working a lot of overtime and it is wearing me out. but to me being tired from working is a whole lot better than being tired from being bored at home.

Okay, here's my situation. . . I graduated High School and left my old hometown in 1996. Sometime in 1997 and 1998 somebody in that town opened up three credit cards in my name using a local PO box. I think it might have been a relative that had access to my information somehow. Now, they ran up substantial charges, totalling around $10,000 across the three cards before vanishing.

Has anybody ever heard of this company? they are based out of dallas texas. They are not on the BBB. Please comment back!! Thanks

I am currently 2.5 months behind on my credit card payments. Of course, the phone has been ringing off the hook! I have been letting the answering machine screen the calls & so far only 1 person from the cc co. has left a message. I am waiting until April or May to hopefully be able to settle these. Should I be answering the phone & talking to them? From my understanding, they are just going to harrass me & use their scare tactics. Someone else said to do all communication via letters. What is the most effective way to deal with them?
