hi, i have been getting calls from a first shore credit. who are they? who do they work for? any answers would be great.

On November 7, 2007 I sent a debt validation letter to allied interstate. I never received anything back from them. Yesterday when I checked the mail I received a letter from NCO Financial Systems saying that they have purchased the debt. Can they legally do this? I basically have to start all over again with sending NCO a validation letter and then wait some more. Is there anything that I can do?
