Last month and the month before I needed cash quickly to cover some emergency medical expenses and rent, so I foolishly went online and borrowed from four different companies. I did not read the loan agreements carefully enough and my monthly payments would come to a total of around $2,000, or around $1,000 every two weeks. I just do not make enough money to handle these interest rates. Fast forward to today and I have not made a single payment yet, revoked ACH authorization with my bank, and am trying to figure out the best course of action.

My credit score has dropped after settling a few credit cards. Will my credit score increase if I pay my rents and insurance premiums on time? Is there any specific laws in Montana?

live in Ohio and am stuck in Payday loan hell(my fault). I have a few loans out that I cannot pay at the terms of of the loan. All the loans are internet loans. range from 600-3000 dollars. Are there credit consolidation programs available for this. I want to pay but at this point my paycheck is gone just paying the minimum. I have not defaulted but I most likely will. Any information you have would be helpful

If I am unable to repay the entire credit card balance now, what makes more sense - continue making the minimum payments or negotiate to pay a lump sum and get rid of the debt. Even closing that account will be no harm

threatening calls at my job regarding the balance. Gave my debit card info for pmt, collector is saying unable to process, received another call at work and she s/w 2 coworker and my leader, sharing my personal info. She called again 2/4, left a threatening msg, when I called back within 5 mins no answer. Not sure what to do.

I am getting calls from 2 debt collectors about a single medical event. Is this ok? One ois saying that they're calling for the hospital debt and another one is saying they're calling for the lab charges

Hi everyone, So I'm relatively new to the PDL endless cycle and I wanted to know my options on getting out it. I took a $1400 PDL in TX to get a car for work. It was an urgent time for me and I didn't consider a lot of other options. Anyway, I’ve been paying it off following the schedule bi weekly payments and right around the 8th or 9th payment, I lost my job so I could not afford it. I refinanced twice and went to the storefront telling them about my situation and they just keep refinancing and now I'm back to the balance I started with after 4 solid months of payments.
