This year I was doubly blessed. I received a bunch of gift cards as a gift from several people and that helped me buy Christmas presents I normally would not have been able to get my kids. This was the first year I was actually able to get things on their list. 6 hours of shopping and 2 hours of wrapping.

Has anyone heard of this credit card for people with bad credit?

What are everyone's favorites? One of my favorites...and I don't know if anyone else remembers it...is Rich Little's Christmas Carol. It is a classic. It wasn't on for years and then my brother said it is on YouTube. I like funny ones like National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, etc.

I interacted with different debt consolidation/settlement companies and different people are quoting different prices. How do I decide which one is better? What paramters should I consider? These are the paramaters I am considering 1) Monthly fees 2) Attorneies 3) Experience in the industry etc Should I consider the break up of fees too? I am getting emails & calls from Westbuy Ventures. The person calling me is Sharon Williams. I have asked a couple of times to send me an agreement that I've signed but she claims she doesn't have that information. She gave me a bank acct. I had several years ago, but is now closed. If I did take out this loan, then yes, I will pay for it, but if I didn't I don't want to. My original loan was $300 & I paid $240 in May, 2007 because I was threatened. Well, I emailed them to let them know I couldn't pay & they wouldn't budge.

Okay, My father passed away last year, and never having handled this before, I'm in a bit of a pickle. Mom gets about 1500 a month from retirement and SSI. She's disabled, having suffered two strokes, and is 81 years of age with expressive Aphasia. I am the holder of the power of attorney and executor of dads will. Mom was the joint tenant as wife in the house, which is the only major asset. Okay, I can't work because mom needs pretty much 24 hour watching, and Phillips and Cohen has been given me increasingly nasty calls about the credit card debt from sears, which is 9500 dollars.
