I'm filing individually, as all of the debts being included are in my name only. The house is in my husband's name, and the vehicles belong to him, my name is not on the titles. I was laid-off the week before Thanksgiving, so just going by my husband's income, I qualify for Ch. 7 using the means test for a household of 3. I got my court date for the meeting of creditors, and the trustee is asking for some documentation that I already provided to the attorney.

Has anyone heard of Payday Loan Assistance Inc. out of Mobile, AL? They claim to help with consolidating and saving money on the loans outstanding. Are they legit?

Ever since DCU upgraded their software on 12/03/07, I have had trouble getting deposits into my savings/checking accounts there. Either the CU service can't perform the transaction (deposit or withdrawal) or the ATM can't communicate with DCU's network. When you call, they say there isn't a problem when there is a problem. Anyone else had this trouble?

I won't say my credit is bad - my score is roughly 650-660 - but I did have some credit issues beginning 2005 with charge offs and collections, mainly due to loss of jobs, of which most are taken of now. In 2006, while I was paying these off, I moved into my own place, paid my own rent, cable, electric, etc. and have yet to be late on any of these, but of course, these don't show up on credit reports. I'm looking to buy a new car, as my current one is over a decade old and over 200,000 miles.

We get daily calls from allied interstate, but we have no debts. How do I go about requesting information from them when there is no acct number or company I owe money to. I plan on doing this by mail, I will not return their call. Also... A while back we were getting calls about my sisters bills. We have no contact with her. After a collection agency is told this can they keep calling? Thanks

I have to break a vehicle lease that has 3.5 years left on it, bad lease I know! I was told it will go to auction and I will be responsible for the difference in amount owed and what it sells for. If I have no assets, can they sue me. How long can they try to collect the money from me. I am exempt from wage garnishment in FL because I am the head of household. I need to know if this will eventually go away, as long as I have no obtainable assets.

Hi, I have a total of 7 payday loans outstanding. All are in default. I am so stupid! 5 of the payday loans are internet and I have been making payments with 4 of them. The other keeps accruing interest daily and my $400 loan is now at $888.23. The total outstanding currently with the internet loans is $2435. I also have 2 storefront payday loans in default totalling $575. I would like to know if the $888.23 can be somehow reduced with all of the interest that keeps adding up. Also, what advice does anyone have on consolidating and getting them to stop calling me and off my back.

I recently sent a wage assignment and request for PIF letter to upfront money and they responded to me and said they are not a payday loan company. What do I do now..I filed my complaint with the BBB and FTC, there not licensed to I dont think I have anything to worry about hopefully.
