Two years ago with 4 cc's amounting to $26,000 in current debt I envisioned shortly I would be in trouble paying monthly bills. In a panic I called a debt settlement company who offered me the chance to be debt free in two years at $400/mo I jumped at the chance. Well it's one month short of two years and I have two cc's left. Worse yet I just received a summons from CACH (Harry Byck) for one of the cc companies saying I owe $21,000. The original debt was $11,400.

A collection agency named allied interstate has been harassing me about a student loan. The latest is they wrote a letter to my employer claiming they are an agent of the government and my employer should send them 15% of my wages each week to settle the debt. Do they really have this authority or are they trying to trick my boss into deducting the money? The letter came with a bunch of forms but was not signed by anyone and looked suspicious to me. I sent 2 validation request to CMI (Credit Management LP in Carrolton TX. They sent me 2 letters bacl both dated 12/11 claiming that they sent me itemization bills on Dec 4th and 6th. In the second letter they give me one date that just doesn't add up. They are claiming I lived in Autin in May 2006 when I know I didn't. I've lived in the city I am in now for almost 4 years and it's several hours away from Austin.

Hello I live in Pennsylvania and have the following payday loans. ameriloan loan amount $600 paid $540 800899cash loan amonnt $300 paid $311 My Cash Now.com loan amount $520 paid $62.24 One Click Cash loan amount $450 paid $0 have paid off numerous loans with them in the past. I can not afford these payments and have been advised to close my bank account and than negotiate with them. Should I cantact these companies and tell them I can't pay before I close my account ? Will they call my references I listed on the application and tell them I can't pay ?

I have 6 payday loans out. Each charge $90.00 every two weeks. I took them out to get me caught up with medical expences. Then I took them out to cover the previous loan! These loans are all online, and be for I can get gas money on my payday they take all my money $420/every other week. I try to set up a payment with them but they just keep taking the interest!!!!!!This inst right HELP!!!!!!!

Lost my husband a few years ago but he did not have life insurance. I have 6 kids and been working my butt off to pay all my debt. Twisted up in PDL's and a cash call loan plus credit card and other debt. I am feeling at my wits end. But I am determined to get out of debt once and for all.

Here is a response received by my state AG from Eastside Lenders after my state AG contacted them NUMEROUS times with no response. They state they are responding to their letter dated August 15, 2007. What is it now? December? Good Lord. And check it out. Apparently, they firmly believe they are "above" the law. Not that anyone would be surprised. Also, they state that they are located/licensed by Delaware. However, from what I have found, they are not licensed in Delaware.
