My daughter and her husband are being constantly hounded by collectors. She had a baby with no insurance or any other aid. Due to complications her med bills are over 25,000. Their biggest problem is a collection agency trying to collect from a repossessed car purchased through a buy here pay here place (big mistake on their part). They only had the car three months, got repoed, resold and now they are being charged $8,000. for the car. The collector is MRS and they are extremely rude and nasty. Last month they called and had her in tears, after various threats she agreed to a $100.

Have you made any boo-boos or mistakes when making a craft for the holidays?? I did!! I'm knitting a blanket for my mother-in-law. The pattern claims its a "6 hour Throw". So far its been 2 weeks! First I realized I didn't have enough stitches on my needles. So after a week of knitting & 1/3 done, I had to take it apart. Then restarted but made more stiches on my needle-but then the needle was too crowded! Ended up buying circular needles. While starting the project AGAIN for the 3rd time, the circular needle fell apart!

I hope everyone who is in a stormy area or having other bad related weather stuff is safe!! We in NJ are looking at 2 storms...one coming Thursday...could bring 5-8inches of snow, sleet, ice, freezing rain. Then on Saturday night into Sunday a Nor-Easter!!

I had to stop payment on 2 payday advancements that told us they would wait till this friday for us.now i know that prosecution is prohibited in ky,my question is what are they gonna do with a stop payment???

I stupidly gave my daughter a credit card to pay off her bills before she got married a year ago. It is now up to $17000, and as the card holder, I am responsible. She is talking to the Consumer Law Center of the West which is affiliated with the Consumer Law Center in Fl. I see by postings that this is not a good idea, but where do we go? They have other debt they want to take care of.

There are many fraudulent bank emails going around out there that are asking customers to update their information. DO NOT SIGN INTO THESE SITES THEY ARE coming from BOA, Union Bank of California, WAMU, Wachovia, US Bank, and many more. If you recieve one of these emails report it to the bank itself (some banks have a special email now for reporting fraudulent emails)

I took out a loan with CASH IN MINUTES for $150.00, I closed my bank account after paying a total of $264.00 in extension fees. I don't remember what the amount in finance fees are for PA, but this man keeps calling me, and the 2 people I used for references constantly making threats that he works for a legal firm of some sort, this company is based in Texas and that they are filing charges, telling me that they are gonna serve me a court notice at my place of employment all kind of things.

I spoke with someone at Langhorne about my PDLs and it seems like an okay deal but does anyone here have experience with them? And I was wanting to check out T&C that i have seen posted in other threads but I cant find them on the web anyone know how to contact them?
