Hello, I was involved in a car accident where I was not at fault, but the person who hit my car has a sub-standard insurance that has not paid anything since the driver of the car was not the owner and not on the insurance policy of the owner...who by the way had a suspended license at the time. This accident occured in July...I do have an attorney but he only wants to help pursue funds for medical treatment and not repair of my vehicle. I am paying a car note on a vehicle I cannot drive and I don't have the money to get it repaired.

How long can a collection agency keep updating a debt and puting it on your credit. According to a TransUnion credtit report the item was to be removed in 2006. The services were preformed in 2000, but never completed. Last year I disputed and had it removed from my TranUnion credit report as being over age. I am now receiving calls again. They say that it was updated in 2006 again and that this debt is going to ding my credit again until 2013.

I have a bank of America checking and savings account. Today I received an email from my credit monitoring service that says I had an inquiry. It says it's from Bank of America and lists it as "permissible purposes". It is definitely 100% listed as a hard inquiry and even dropped my score close to 10 pts. I called Bank of America and got nowhere. They stated that they only do hard inquires if I apply for a loan or credit card, neither of which have I ever done.

on my credit report it states the following written off 2,805? Status: Account charged off/Past due 180 days. $2,805 written off 2007 but it was charged off in 2003

I have a company, calling me about a debt that I won an arbitration award on in 2004. I thought this was over but I received a call in 2007 about this particular debt. I sent them a copy of the award and they won't acknowledge it. They proceeded to call me about it and eventually sold it off to another company. (Capital Management Services). I know the original creditor has written the debt off so I guess my question is does the current owner have the right to sue even though they aren't the orig. creditor?

Hi, I was just wondering what others' experiences have been with these different PDL's. The last payment that any of them received was on 11/15 and I haven't heard much from any of them. I did get a call (message) from one of them saying that they wanted to talk to me about my e-mail (a request for PIF and to make contact only through e-mail or regular mail) but all I did was re-send the same e-mail to them and never called them back. I haven't heard a thing.

I've had to keep getting new ones just to keep my head up, but now I'm to the point where almost my whole paycheck goes to paying fees and hardly anything on the principles. I can't even afford my mortgage this month. They are all loans I have gotten through the internet. I need some help. I don't know what to do!
