We've been walking a hard line since I got fired almost a year ago (Dec 23rd). Now we've got about 7 PDLs, 2 charged off credit card bills (that predated the unemployment), late rent, electric, and cable bills (no landline phone, only prepaid minutes for the last 5 years). I'm not sure what we should do except take it one day at a time without much of a plan. Any advice out there?

I didn't even get money from this company, but now they took $210 out of our checking account. I have/ do have other payday loans, but all of those payments came out as well and they were what they are supposed to be. I had one company contact me via email first and then via telephone 2nd about offering us a $150 loan for $60 in fees. I don't know where they got our "application" but i did NOT apply with this company so I am thinking that one of the loans that we paid off sold our info. Now i can't even get in touch with this company.

FYI, I received a letter from the Attorney General's office from NV. They stated that the Nevada location for cashtoday is in fact a virtual office, meaning that telephone calls are routed to England from the US (800 number you call). Cash Today aka Leads Gobal, cash2day4u, Interim Cash is located in England at 1379 Northway House, High Road Tottridge and Wheatstone, London, England N209LP. Houston, I believe we have a physical address for the guys. I will be putting in my complaint to the Institution that regulates small loan lending and consumer protection in England.

GE Money offered to settle at 30% of the balance, but I had to have pay the entire 30% within 15 days. I could'nt do it, and then it charged off a few weeks later. I am wondering if the will ever offer me a deal that good again?

I have about $24,000 in unsecured bills and money is tight. I need to consolidate my bills and can afford about $300 a month. I am paying about $700 a month now and no one will loan me any money. Where can I get one.

I contacted them and was told that after all the charges my total to pay off the loan was $1200.00. They said I could settle for $900.00 but I had to pay it within 30 days or the deal was off. I told them that I could pay $100.00 a month but they said that wasn't possible. I have four collection agencies after me, Global/CapitalOne. Simm/ Merrick Bank. Portfolio Recovery/Providian-WaMu. And one for my husband NCO/CapitalOne. These accounts have all been charged off. I have not attempted to contact them because I have no money to pay them. I have been sick and have not worked in quite awhile. Portfolio has sent me a Pre-Legal Demand and if they do not hear from me by 12/20 they will place it with a local Attorney in my state to sue me. My husband is working his tail off to make enough to pay our other bills.
