I got into debt because I lost my job and was out of work for 4 months. We were living off my husbands income and raising 3 kids. I am now back at work but I made the mistake of taking out payday loans plus banking with Compass who is messing us up royally with the way they credit withdrawels before deposits. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and learning from them. Hopefully we will be debt free again one day.

Hi Like everyone else I got in a bind and now Im really in one. State - Florida paydayloans were both through the internet. Geneva Roth borrowed $250 paid $420 Loan Shop - borrowed $250 paid $420 I have no idea how to get in touch with them. I have almost paid them double what I borrowed. How do I get rid of them or pay them off or something. Trying to get backon my feet and this is killing me every payday. Please help!

I called the phone number to BIG that was in the e-mail that they sent me about my payment being returned. I asked the man that answered for a mailing address. He asked me "who am I speaking with"? I said "I just need a mailing address please". He asked "Do you have an account with us?" I said "I just need a mailing address please". He said "If you tell me your name and if you have an account, I'll give you the address". I said "You can't give me the mailing address without that information?" He said "no, I can't". I asked why and he asked me why I needed the address.

I had a judgment from arrow financial in Hamilton County OH on January 2002. This was a first premier debt. Now Jefferson Capitol has it and is offering me thier Emblem Fresh start solution program. Does SOL apply to judgments? Is it best to just pay this off as quickly as possible to Jefferson? Will this add to the time the judgement appears on my credit reports? Note first premier, arrow nor jefferson appear on my credit report just the judgement.

My cash call payment cleared my bank however I will be owing the bank nsf fees and the amount of cash call payment.

I just wanted to post this...becuase I constantly read scary stories about bank accounts, banks unwilling to help and accounts being forced open. Due to my recent check writing events, I have been in contact with my bank over the past few days. While talking to the customer service rep who was helping me with the pdls, (we had put the account on deposit only status) I inquired as to the status of my account...she looked it up and it is CLOSED TO ALL TRANSACTIONS!!!! Yeah!!! And, every attempt to debit was returned and I was assured it will not be forced back open.
