Does anyone know what the limits are for the State of Ohio/

Has anyone just closed their bank accts and just dealt with the harassment? Im curious to see just how far some of you have gone in dealing with these "loansharks"

Is it better to cancel old, unused credit cards, or newer ones and leave the old ones open?

I filed Bankrput in Spetmeber of 2000, and it was discharged Jan of 2001. This was chapter 7. Some have told me that since i did it 5 year before the new law that i would be able to and then I would have to wait 8 years. Becasue then it was 6 years. so does the new law apply people who filed way back in 2000, or is it people who filed when the new law changed? i do not plan on filing agian in 8 years. I did not plan on doing it agian after the first time. But bad luck happened and we got into the payday loan trap. PLUs we owe a loan for american general.

i have put a ach debit hold on my account and stop making payments on my payday loans,they have taken money out of my account for 3-4 pay periods and now still say i owe them.i need help because im afraid that they're going to get lawyers and collection agencies to threaten me.i had only 2 payday loand each for $300 and they've taken out $105 and $90 out of my account every pay period for 3-4 paypreiods.i don't think i owe them anymore money.please help.

I had recently a loan with cash transfer centers it is pif.however they take back all of the loan for the full amount plus $100.example being you take a loan for $400 they debt your account for $503. is this legal could I get a refund.

today, i received a letter from the law office of harris and dial about an account from midland credit managment. are they legit and who is midland credit management?

In April I took a $300 loan with Loanshop. I have called their number and am put on hold for over an hour and get not get a live person. I have no record they ever sent me of this loan so I can't check any of the fees but to this date they have taken $180 a month out of my checking account. I have called my bank(BOA) and they told me sorry we can only do 2 months on ACH transactions it's a federal law. How can I get some of my money back if any or just make them stop! With overdraft fees this is killing me! Plus $180 x 8 months they are more than paid! I live in FL if that helps any.
