Does anyone know why Cap1 doesn't want paid? I have a charged off acct w/them and have asked them twice now how to pay it. They keep referring me to the debt collector who WONT validate the debt. What do I have to do???

I called FMS Inc.today, who is the collection, or was, for my 23 year old student loan (and this is after I sent them a Validation letter a few weeks ago) and they said that they gave it to Endeavor Financial Partners. I asked the girl, Kelly, if that was good or bad and she said that she did not know but that is who has it. So, now I have no ideal what to do, Im not sure what will happen, really scared at this moment again. I sure could use some good advise right about now. I did ask the Soaplady to help and I am sure she will when she can.

How do I remove unauthorized inquiries on my credit report? Can I request that other inquires be removed?

The AG's office just called me back informing me that they need more info on this company so that they can proceed with the complaint... But I don't have anything, and I couldn't find a thing on them, she said that the web address didn't even pop up when she entered it..... Does anyone have a phone number or a address for them??

If you have an account and miss one payment, is there a certain number of days the credit card company must wait before they contact you (ie...bombard you with phone calls)? I have a credit card and forgot to mail the monthly payment. It is 4 days late as of today and the company has called my home and cell phone 9 times in the past 6 hours.

Hello, My name is Kimberly and I just found this forum and have a few questions. I am in some credit card debt trouble due to a divorce and not sure what to do to handle it. I have not been late on any payments as of yet but I can't handle the payments any longer. For the most part my boyfriend has been helping me out on most of my bills but I just don't want to depend on that anymore. There is no way I can pay my Credit Card debt by myself and need to figure out how to pay it off quickly but also be able to live.

If the original creditor is willing to take full payment for the delinquent amount owed instead of the CA is there a better chance I can dispute with the Credit Agencys to have it taken off by the collection agency, since I never sent the payment to them. This is a payment owed to my City whom i owned an emergency tax too. I called the City this morning and tried to have them remove it from my credit report but they said they could not do it.
