Hello, I live in the state of Pennsylvania and I have 4 pdl's (yes I fell into the trap) I realized that I can no longer afford the payments, and after speaking with one of them (them not willing to work with me) I went to my bank and closed the account so none of these can debit my account on 11-30-2007. I guess what I need help with is the only income I have is I get SSI for 2 of my kids........can these pdl companies do a wage attachment to these loans with my kids SSI money? Can they take my income tax refund (hubby works so we get a tax refund)?

This was pm'd to me by Shaqlover and I decided to post it to the fourm in case other members have had experinces with this company and have advice to help Shaqlover out. I have a loan with cash link and they have been taking $ from me for a $300 loan since August. I tried to call them last week and i got in touch with someone to find out if i could pay this off already because i have paid so much so far. I tried to call today and they say they will return tomorrow and their mail box is full. Do you think there could be a problem i should be concerned with?

In March I took out a loan from Ace Loan services , I was paying it on time but lost my job through corporate downsizing.I had tried to maintain payments but not able .My wife works ,and with the bills we have today are not able to pay the outstanding loan. The loan was for $1,000 and managed to pay $800 of and they want their full $1000 plus intrest.I have been bothered at work and the phone calls just keep coming.Will all this affect my credit
