Hi Guys, So, my dmp payment never made it there last month, and now I'm getting calls from CashNetUSA, even though I sent them a cease and desist letter. Should I send one out again? I'm still working with the DMP, so they will get paid. Any suugestions?

I just had someone (who sounded like they were 16) call from a collection agency that said my account from Cash Net USA had been forwarded to them. I paid them over 6 months ago and filed a complaint with my Attorney General so I asked her to send me something verifying the debt. She wanted to verify my email and said that as I used that to open the debt if it was still mine then I still owed (I know - that doesn't even make sense).

how can i refinance my car with bad credit!!! i just got the car in feb my payments are 470 a month and for each day i'm late its an extra $11 what can i do

All the blaming and backbiting and unkind words that have been going on seem petty to me now. I had to put mom in hospital Moday and she isn't doing well. Also, a good friends daughter was murdered Monday night- still looking for her body-she was 13 years old. The family is devastated. This all puts things into perspective for me- I don't have time for the childishness--got my plate full Say a prayer please..karen

 

Florida Resident trying to pay off internet payday loans!

I'm a Florida resident and have been trying to negotiate payoffs with payday lenders (all internet) prior to the loans defaulting or any payments being returned. Several have agreed to my proposed payment plans and have agreed to stop ACH debits. Others have not. Here's a summary of my situation with the lenders who will not work with me: The Loan Shop a/k/a Isle Ventures?

Ok, so I got a response from Sagamore (not sure if that's a DBA or the actual company)... after only one letter, here's what they had to say... I feel like I won a little victory today :). One down... four to go! :) :) Thanks everyone for your help! Quote:

I recently defaulted on a loan with Cashtransfercenters and through research here and other forums have discovered they are not licensed in my State (Oklahoma), or any other state for that matter. I was reading over my loan agreement and have found NOTHING mentioning wage assignment. Are they changing their tactics, or should I look for different wording? I'm considering sending a letter revoking wage assignment to them and to my employer as a CYA measure. Information? Advice? Thanks, Jennifer

I am starting to get emails, about my closed bank account. Can anyone tell me if my cashnow is legal? I am in Illinois. I want to have all my info straight before I respond to them. Wow, there letters are kind of scary!
