i have 3 payday loans out and for numerous months i have been breaking myself trying to pay them back . I have lost nearly everything i own trying to pay these people back. recently it came to a point to where it was either feed your kids or pay them back and i chose the obvious. now i am receiving threatning calls because i have not replied to them becasuse i am afraid to tell them i am still currntly not in a position to pay them back.

My husband & I filed Chptr 7 in 1999. In 2000 I file for divorce, Chap 7 goes through in my name only because he doesn't show up to court. I had excellent credit before this, but have never been able to recover. Every time I got ahead financially a huge set-back would occur - expensive car/home repairs, job loss, periods of no child-support coming in. Anyway...we had a 1st & 2nd mortgage. Neither debt was reaffirmed, but 1st was always willing to work w/me. I've been on countless repayment plans and am often on the brink of foreclosure.

In 2000 I filed for a divorce - my husband & I were in the midst of a Chapter 7 at the time & I had been a stay-at-home mom since 1990. I had excellent credit before this but I've never been able to fully recover financially due to various financial set-backs (job loss, smaller salary, countless periods of not receiving child-support). For a long time I could barely afford the bare necessities for me & my 4 kids - we even had to start going to the local food pantry!

I posted this elsewhere, but I'll try for an answer here.... Midland Credit Corp got my debt validation letter on the same day I got served with a summons to appear in court. At 1st court date I filed my answer and again denied the debt and asked for a written agreement and proof of how they determined I owe the amount they are suing for. Their lawyer told judge I was asking for documents & case was continued. At 2nd court date a new lawyer appears - again I say I deny I owe them and judge asks lawyer if he wants a trial.

I leased a vehicle for 24 months. I turned it in 02/2000. All of my monthly payments were made. When the vehicle was turned in, there was no inspection. I didn't have to sign off on anything. Maybe a year or so later I was contacted, saying I went over the allowed mileage and owed a per mile fee. I think they said it was a little more than $1400. I never agreed to pay anything. On 10/31/07, I received a letter from a collection agency for $2,164.49. Should I dispute? Has the statute of limitations run out on this debt?

I have like 6 payday loans for me and my husband. my father in law got really sick and we did everything we could just to save him.Now our problem became a nightmare. We started borrowing from these paydayloan. Theyre debiting money directly from our account. All of them are online except for Advance America which we always in good standing, they actually extended our lona for another 2 weeks without any charges when they found out our situation.

I sent a debt validation letter, which was received by Midland Credit Co the same day I got served with a summons to court.
