For loans taken out over the internet for NJ residents.

I posted a topic in one of the other Forums but I guess this is the one where I'd get more replies based on the subject. I had bank account with WaMu that was overdrawn and placed into collections. I paid it off recently, but they said because it's a valid debt they won't remove it off of my report. Totally understandable. However, after showing cajunbulldog what my reports say in terms of the debt.. apparently there was an error by Metro 2 as to how it's worded.

Is cash supply legal in PA? They keep bugging me, paid the principal plus more.

Hi, I owe a credit card bill with Orchard Bank, HSBC, about $1200. I have had this debt since last year and I haven't paid on it for several months. A week or two ago, I got a call from IDT Carmel stating that they had taken over this debt and they wanted me to settle. I told them I couldn't settle, but that I would make payment arrangements. I set up a check over the phone for $200, to be taken out of my account on 10/31. After that, they called my husband, who was unaware of this bill, since I pay all of our bills.

I have a payday loan with (National Payday Advance it says coral springs fl, but the email comes from cash-advance.us. Please help me locate and address for these people, so that I can have papers served on them for their illegal collection practices .

has anyone ever heard of a mr. hanson? 214-503-1482. he calls me like 4 times a day, harrasses me, leaves messages, yesterday, i just finally said he had the wrong #, he started getting smart , so i hung up. wondered if anyone else has to deal with him?

I have at least 6 payday loan online, and it's killing me financially. I live in Missouri. I have all my credit card and personal loan with a debt consolidation company now, but they wouldn't take my payday loans. I really need help.

I received this telephone number 312-224-8808 on my caller ID and I tried calling it back but it is only gives a busy signal. I tried to do a reverse search using google and white pages but no results as to a company name. Does anyone recognize this number or who it is affiliated with? Thanks.

I have gotten alot of PMs lately that have disturbed me. Some are from our new members, others from some that have been here a while. And in all of them are a common thread-- The new members are upset and afraid to post for fear of getting jumped on, made to feel stupid,or rudely talked to. The other memebrs are upset at this trend going on. One new member "thanked" me for being so kind and helpful. While this made my day, it also made me sad.

I have an item on my credit report from Midland that shows an incorrect past due amount. This debt was 'sold' to Phillips & Cohen in DE and I contacted this company and settled the account and received a letter from Phillips on behalf of their client Midland Credit Managment that the account was satisfied. I've filed disputes with the major credit agencies and they stated it as 'correct'. What would you suggest as the next step?
