I'm about to default on 3 payday loans. CashnetUSA for $750.00, PaydayOK for $180.00, and an installment loan from Check n Go for $1,300.00. All on-line loans. I was just wondering how long I got until things get nasty. I expect phone calls of course right away. But, how long do you think I got until they sue, garnish, file criminal charges, or whatever else they might do? I live in Ohio BTW. Thanks for any advice.

A while back I filed a cease and decess letter with the original creditor and now the loan has been bought by another company and is being collected by a cc. Is the cease and decess letter still in afectt from the original creditor? And do I have to warn them about it or can I just go to small claims court against them?

I mentioned this in another thred, but i didn't want to hijack that persons thread any further. My question is. You can have your paycheck deposited on this prepaid mastercard. Do you think this would be safe from the pdl sharks? I'm afraid to open a new bank account right now because i keep hearing about pdl sharks tracking down new account numbers and debiting them. Wonder if they could do the same thing with the Mastercard?

I am so overwhelmed with the burden of these pay day loans. I can't continue to pay 400 a week in interest. what should i do?

I had a settlement agreement with CIR LAW offices to settle a debt. I was waiting for the letter with the settlement agreement so I could send them the payment. The woman who i guess was handling my account called me today after I left her a message stating I had not receivedthe settlment agreement letter in the mail yet (two weeks have passed by).Well then she procceded to tell me that the offer expires today and if I didn't do a Pay by phone check payment the settlement offer was off the table.

I bowwrowed $300.00 back in May 2007, I have made several attempts to contact these people to settle the debt. thet never return the call and all i get is a recording. I finally got tired of calling and paying $90.00 by weekly to this company, so I had a stop payment on my account. three days later, I had a person from United States Process Department make threats by stating they are filing criminal charges for fraud or i could send $775.00 through my account to them and the account would be settled, I have no verification of this company, what is going on...help

I need to write a letter to get my interest rate to a lower rate

I have been searching around here and although i do have some answers i have a few more detailed questions than most of the posts.. ill give a brief recap of my situation and then post my questions.. any help is very much appreciated. All of my debt is CC debt, 105k in my name personally. I am a homeowner and have a decent amount of equity in my home (that i have no interest in using to pay CCs off) home value around 200,000. Mortgaged for around 165,000. At the moment i am unemployed.
