Okay I put a stop payment on a check on Monday but the automated reply was that if it was presented that night it could possibly clear. So called customer service # and spoke with someone in person who stated yes that it could clear but any NSF fees resulting from this would be refunded. No PROBLEMO!
Move ahead to Tuesday morning, sure enough the check cleared and sure enough there would be NSF fees on the acct.

I talked to the fraud dept and they put another block onto the account, the first time didnt work (BS). I went off, I told her it was their fault that the account reopened and that this transaction wnt through, she reversed the nsf charge and I put in a dispute w/ the bnk regarding this company. SO, they must have b*lls of steel to think they will get by w/ this...no other pdl even touched the account.

Have PDL questions?18 years 4 months ago I have been reading this site over the last 3 or 4 days and I have to say I find it full of useful information. I do have a question if someone can answer for me. I have read where people are writing letters to these companies to get them to stop ACH Debits from their bank accounts. I have 3 payday loans coming due, can I send a letter telling them they no longer have my authorization to withdraw these funds from my account? If so, do they have to stop and what exactly does the letter have to say. Also does have to be notorized?
