Stopping ACH Withdrawals

18 years 4 months ago
I am new this this forum so I hope some of you experienced veterans can help me out. I signed up with Langhorne debt solutions today and was told that I should inform my bank as soon as possible to stop all ACH transactions on my account and change my account numbers. Has anyone ever done this before? If so how did it work out for you? Thanks in advance

Treasure Finds!

18 years 4 months ago
I have been going to yard sales and estate sales and thrift stores for thirty years or so. I have probably made over 100,000 dollars in my life time selling much of it. I have sold over 3000 items on ebay. I don't sell anymore, but my wife and I still go. The past two weekends we found a old painted green table that some farmer made in the 1930s to fit under a window. A vintage cotton Hawaiian shirt that was never worn, in my size, actually made in Hawaii in the 70s. A 50.00 pictorial cookbook for 1.00 and lots more. Does anyone else here like to go to sales and if so what have you bought?

Filed bankruptcy on student loans

18 years 4 months ago
I recently filed bankruptcy on my credit cards and the trustee saw where every penny was going and noticed that I had 49,000.00 (25,000 interest only) in student loans declared as well. He was like, "You have nothing left to pay your student loans back with!!!" I said, "exactly". My case is under review for discharging my student loans as well!!!! This will so be a blessing!!! I will keep you upda.ted.

GFS at it again

18 years 4 months ago
I had GFS call me on Friday. They said that I owed $2,175. I only borrowed $200 to begin with. I asked several times for proof that the PDL was not paid in full. They refused. I cussed everyone out that calls me from GFS. The last person I talked to I told him that he made me horny. I figure if I talk to them like that, they will leave me alone.

OMG Unifund worse then Tony Soprano!!!

18 years 4 months ago
I have this old bill from AT&T Visa. In April of 2006 the amount owed was 3,868.05. Unifund said as of Friday I owe 5,835.92 but they would be willing to settle for 4,669.00. I cannot believe since last year the interest on this debt has been almost 2,000,00! Does this seem right? Should I go ahead and try and validate this debt?
