Just have a quick question can these companies contact your employer and have the money taken out of your paycheck to pay back these loans my other question is i listed my company but we were actually bought out by another company and they dont have that information. Should I contact my payroll and tell them the situation or should I wait to see if they do any wage assignments,

I went to my parents house a couple months ago and my mom gave me a letter from a debt collection company that said that they were taking me to National Arbitration and that a award could be entered against me. I didn't get the paper at least a couple weeks after it was sent to my parents home, where I have not lived for 7 years. The paper was not dated anywhere, nor did it say when this "arbitration" was to take place.

Ok this is what my situation is. I filed for BK in August of 2004. The only thing that i am paying on through the BK is my car loan. The car is listed on EX, and EQ not TU. Some how last month the car came off EX. (not that i am complaining). I just checked my credit report and it is showing EQ is being 120 days late since March 07. Which is not true. I did a dispute with EQ, i am waiting on my results. I am so upset becasue the money comes right out of my paycheck. Do i need to call the BK trustee and ask them what is going on or should i wait until i get my results back from EQ?

I wrote a debt verification letter to a collection agency in April. I received in the mail yesterday, October 25, 2007,a copy of the application I signed and the check I wrote to Capital one to open the secured account. My question is is there a length of time they had to respond to my request for validation? I also aske in my letter to break down the amount due and how it was calculated and they didn't. How do I procede now?

According to the man i talked to last night from the Lawyers office. The CA hired them to litigate against me. He told me they will only except a lump sum. I owe 4100.00 with the interest. I asked how much they will except and he said I have to make them offer and they will base it on my income and how many dependents I have. Also - this is the first time I talked to them. They have been calling my brother's house and the lawyer said he finally got my cell # off the internet. He said they have had my account for 90 days and if I don't make a lump sum payment by Nov.

I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy. They take the money right out of my check bi-weekly but I am sinking very fast. I am wondering if I did the right thing. I have right now 6 payday loans out and just don't know what to do. can anyone help :(
