I paid off my collections about 4 monthes ago. I have only two accounts with lates from over a year ago. One of which is not my fault( ex wife). I have increased my number of good accounts and yet my credit score went from a 520 to a 650 down to a 587 since I started visiting this sight I do not understand. What did I do wrong to make it go from 650 to 587?

Is there an online publication or website where I can find out which PDL and IPDL companies are illegal in California, as well as the legal companies? I went to the California DFI website and looked all over but couldn't find the info. :( Thank you!

I had posted on here awhile back about my situation with two debts I have. One Midland credit bought up and the other is with capitol one. I got a summons to court for both from the same law firm, so I gathered up my paper trails waited for my court date and went to them. I was pretty scared about the whole thing never been to court in my life but it wasnt so bad. I kept waiting and waiting for the judge to appear but nothing just a bunch of what looked like attorneys showed up and started calling peoples names out.

I have some internet payday loans and need some advice. MTE Financial Borrowed $300 paid $270 in interest Paycheck Today Borrowed $200 paid $180 in interest Upfront Payday Borrowed $300 paid $75 by money gram. I live in Texas what should I do to get these people paid and away. I have attempted to make payment arrangements that I can stick too but they have been very mean.

We own our own small business (a sawmill) and we recently had to shut it down because we couldn't get any logs. My husband recently got a job to help pay part of the bills, but they just keep adding up. Then we went and got a title loan that is charging 435% interest, and things are just slowly getting worse. We are both now very depressed about our situation.
