Is it possible to write a cease & decist letter (or any kind of letter) to a creditor telling them in writing NOT to call you but to call the Consolidation company? I tried to give it to Chase over the phone & they wouldn't take it. I'm wondering if a letter to them would be more effective? Chase is really stressing me because now I'm 90 days past due on it & I just want them to recognize I'm in a plan. The consolidation company said that if I called & told them I was in a plan and they wouldn't listen, the consolidation company would have no effect either.

Does anyone have any information about handling old student loans?

I live in Idaho and I have about $3500 in medical bills from a wreck I was involved in and a surgery that was needed and have just received Attorney report statements on both of them and would like to know what would be the best solution to settle this? they are not wanting to cooperate with any payment arrangements and are going to start garnishing my wages and I don't know what to do about it.

After one calling them to make a payment deal, they started to call me again. Actually, I sent DV letter with cease & desist, and I got it. so I sent a verbal offer acceptance letter today before I pay the money. My question is.. Once I call them, is cease & desist not valid anymore? Thank you in advance.

I am looking for advice about resurgent capital services.I got a letter from them about a credit card that i owed on.I do owe on this card,they offered me a credit card with the debit on it.Well I guess I was born yesterday because i fell for it.Now what i want to know is if i don't activate the card do i still owe them and what can they do about it?
