[color=Violet][/color][size=3][/size] I am 20 years old and have $21774.28 in credit card debt spread over 9 credit cards. I currently only work part time and bring home around $900 a month. I don't know what to do..Ive been looking at different debt consolidation and settlement companies and i get mixed reviews about each one. I can barely pay my min. monthly payments and I don't want to be paying on these for 30 years. Any advice on where I should look?

Okay, while I was gone, I almost fell over when a commercial came on TV! It was a commercial for Think Cash. I about died! As goudah has pointed out many times, this is not a pdl. And as goudah has posted from Think Cash's website, it is an installment loan backed by a bank (like Cash Call). And on the commercial (as I was staring at it mesmorized), it also put that "quote" at the bottom of the TV screen. I was just waiting for friggin Gary Coleman to show up at any minute! I just shuddered. I had to share. They don't advertise it where I live. But they sure do in other places!

Okay. It's my birthday. So who is the most generous around? my cash now sent me an email telling me Happy Birthday and since I'm such a great customer ( I have never had a pdl with My Cash Now ) they are offering me a loan at a discounted rate! Then Instant Loans Now sent me an email telling me Happy Birthday and since I'm such a great customer I can get a loan with 50% off the fees. Ummmm... these guys are the ones who sent me to a third party collection agency.

So I end up running late for work. We have 2 parking lots...a front one & a back one-by the cafeteria. Figured "Let me park in the back, so I can get myself some milk before I go up to my desk". I get out of the car & I heard a "Hissssssssssssssssssss". GREAT. Sounds like the tire. Check driver side-nothing. Check passenger side, kinda sounds like its from the right front tire. Get on the ground & look under the car-nothing leaking. Maybe its the radiator...open the hood-its all quiet. Listen to the right front tire again...sounds like its that one.

I have a collection filed by Arrow Financial on two of the 3 agencies that lowered my scores stoutly. I used the debt verification letter as suggested by Cajun with the CA whn I goit the initial Letter. The CA had already sent info to CA before I sent out Debt Verification request SO I did not have the 30 days??? The CA (arrow) ahas sent back al etter saying they wil cease and desist any collection effort until such time as the comply with legal requiremnt for debt verification to me in writing as I requested.

I received a e-mail from Midland Market stating that my account has been sent to collections with AIS Service - has anyone dealt with AIS Service I had a $200 loan with Midland Market and defaulted on 09/28/07 - meaning I have paid them $900. (way overpaid) but I still cannot find what state they are in and if they are licensed - any help appreciated.

I have a few options available to me. Which is the best path? I'm working with a settlement company. I can stay with them, and watch my credit go to hell over the next 3 years and hopefully the credit card companies will settle with them. I can call the credit card companies myself, and see what they can do for me. I'm currently 60-90 days behind on payments. I can try to borrow money from a family member to make a settlement offer to the credit card companies.

I have disputed a entry on my husbands credit report and sent letters certified. I have not received all the cards back stating they were received. What do I do now?

OK, here's the deal. I am involved in a criminal investigation against someone locally that is a known scammer. I have been investigating this loser for more than three years, as he has ripped off several of my friends on internet car clubs for thousands of dollars. Recently, this person was convicted of using someone else's identity to buy a Porsche....so you see the kind of person I am dealing with. Anyways, on to my question. I recently found this person advertising different scams to make money. One of these is a $199 deal where you pay him and he gets you a federal tax ID number.
