First of all, I applied for a $300.00 loan and it went through without me signing anything, over $1000.00 was drawn from my account. I tried to contact this company, had no phone number, address or any way to contact them through the web again. I did come to a site as this one and read some of the messages and I took the advice and closed my account.

i have received a letter today claiming next step is legal action.......so i wanted to get an email address for them and came across all of the questions here that concern me. Now what?

I had a letter arrive to my home about a year ago. I called the number given and spoke with the gentleman. A debt to MCI was accrued and had my name on it. Funny thing is that I was not even on this continent (America) when it was made. I am serving in the Armed Forces and was stationed on Hawaii at the time. The gentleman was polite and expressed his dismay at how such an oversight could have happened. He assured me that it was clearly a case of mistaken identity and would be cleared up immediatly. Just yesterday I recieved a letter from CBCS who was acting on behalf of Midland.

Dose anyone have an email,phone number, mailing address for them? I want to send a letter to them but I don't have anything for them. Thanks

I called The first Bank of delaware today to check out think cash and I spoke with someone who told me that they only offer their loans through check n go and through their bank.I called around to a few other places to find out if think cash was registered and everyone I spoke to said that they didn't find any information on this company.The BBB had them listed and said their was one compliant filed and resolved but that is all I could find on the company.When I called the company they kept putting me on hold and transferring me.

I am about ready to tackle one of the pdls that I defaulted on, but hasn't called me or emailed me for months! Now that most of the dust has cleared from the other 6, I feel like I can concentrate on my last defaulted three now, Cashnetusa, Power Funding, and National Moneystore. So I called Power Funding and they sent me over to a collection agency, which wasn't a surprise because they had sent me an email about it back in February, but I had to call because I had no idea who they sent me to.

I am in Maryland with a number of payday loans out. I have a massive head injury and I am at home recovering. I am in the waiting period for disability pay now and there will not be enough in my account to cover the payments due Friday. First, I just found out that Maryland shows payday loans to be PROHIBITED...is there anything I can do about that? Second, I can't find phone numbers for a couple of the lenders. I thought I should contact them and try to work it out...is this advisable? Thanks!

Has anyone dealt with Urgent cash? I closed my checking account because I couldn't afford the fees anymore, I faxed them prior to the close of my account told them that my account was being closed and that I would have to make payments, they claim they never got the fax, anyway the payment was returned and not a Joe Long is calling me and I asked that he email the mailing address so I could make payments and this is what he said: Ms. , When we spoke you said you would be paying the debt by money order on the 15th. You did not mention payments to me.

I was curious about licensing mentioned by some of the more experienced users in this forum so I decided to contact my state tax department in regards to that. I found out that it is a business license that is required (at least in my state) now it would make sense that for a business to conduct commerce in a state they would have to pay for a state business license. Are there any states out there that do not require a business license for them to perform their services in?
