Has anybody gone through Americna Credit Counselors for their debt consolidation. I'm thinking of using them, but would like to hear from some people who have used them before.

I sent Up Front Cash a letter stating that I would pay them the balance of the principle for the loan I got. I just got a call from them and they asked me to call them back. Do I get the letter in front of me and then call them back?? :oops:

We are in the State of TX. -Here is our situation. We owe 90K on unsecure debts. -We have one exempt house ($1120 monthly payment) -3 real estate investment houses...no equity at all (2500.00 for monthly payment) -2 car loans (550 a month for both) ******Income -4000.00 take home from me -2000.00 from the rental I am current on all my debts but with the credit cards payments, I will be late starting in October 2007.

i had a credit to my checking account in the amount of $25 and the description line only said 'Ambassador Funding'... The bank has no other information about this deposit, has this happened to anyone else? If this 'Ambassador Funding' has access to credit my account, they also have access to debit it... I did receive a payday advance loan from nation, but have not paid them anything yet, therefore I couldn't have overpaid them...

WOW, i thought this day would NEVER come but it has arrived! :D I have wired them the rest of their money, gotten a PIF thru email and am waiting on papers in the mail to the courts for satisfied judgement! Ok guys, it's going on almost 2 months now that my overpaid loans defaulted with Oneclick and United and I haven't heard a peep (knock wood). I mean, NOTHING. I haven't heard anything back from my AG either. Now, I'm just throwing this out there, but do you think that the fact that I work in a law firm might have something to do with why they aren't bothering me? I'm just starting to get a little nervous, and I know they will slither out of the woodwork at some point, but the silence is starting to make me uneasy..

I had a notice in the mail yesterday that I had a certified letter waiting for me at the post office. Under sender, it simply said "SALT LAKE CITY, UT". I pulled up my info and none of the recent DV letters I have sent are in that part of the country. I have no friends or family in Utah, and my company only has offices in California, Texas, and Europe. So, I go to the post office this morning, to see what it is about. The lady comes back with the "letter" and says she is not sure what I want to do about it....it's empty!

paying bills off quicker and trying to get things under control again

I can not do this anymmore. Between yesterday and today, I can not take the phonecalls. I was just yelled at by a woman from ARM. I asked for a debt validation and she did not know what I was talking about. When I explined what it was and her compnay was required to respond to it in writing by law, she started yelling at me telling me that if I can't pay back a loan I should not take out the loan and before I could get anything else she said have a good day and hungup on me. UGH!!!!!
