I'm sure that some of you are aware that I have a friend who is trying to make arrangements with checkngo online for her installment loan. They went for over 3 weeks without contacting her and then they finally called her last Thursday. She missed the call and saw it on her caller id, as they did not leave her a message. She called them back (she had a feeling it might be them)and asked once again if she could make payment arrangements ($100 per month is what she can afford). Of course she was told that they will not accept that amount.

Thought this might be of interest to some of you...Because of this whole pdl mess, I have stopped my ach and have been using bill pay through my bank. Received this e-mail this morning...

a little over a month after the devastation of Katrina our area was being hit by yet another. I remember it like it was yesterday! That was the scariest storm i've ever been in! I can remember tornado warnings and me n 3 of my 4 children huddled in the hall with pillows and hearing the wind howling outside as hubby stood at the window watching. It felt like that night would never end!!

I have several payday loans that I am having trouble paying. I have 3 with gw financial services for $570 each. Cashnetusa.com for $501.92. two with paydayone.com for $674.02 each. paydayok.com for $190.00. thinkcash.com for $234.26. I plan on closing my bank account tomorrow, but I do not know what to do about paying these loans back. I'm in so far over my head.

This season I will be adding Bionic Woman, Big Shots, Gossip Girl, Private Pratice, Flash Gordon and Moonlight to my alrady scheduled line up. Smallville, Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Shark, Desperate Housewives, American Idol, Jericho, Hero's, Eureka, Stargate Atlantis, Dr. Who.. I am sure there are some shows I am missing.. I have poor credit. I have one credit card with almost $6,000 on it. I was in a debt management program but decided to let them go since most of the money I paid them went into their pockets and not toward my credit card balance. I have tried to pay them on my own but with only one income with a family of four, that is somewhat hard to do. What I am afraid of is that this credit card company will not allow me to join another 'program' and therefore I would again have to struggle to pay down a large debt with a large interest rate. Is there any advice that you could offer me?

I signed a contract with a company that sold products for homes, soon after my financial situation got very bad and lost house and lots of debt. I am now trying to clean up credit. I have this one creditor, for which i owe 1500.00 and i don't know what to do. Should i send letter for settlement, i have received no correspo. From them. Help, so close to having a good score

I filed an answer to my summons on Friday. Then yesterday, I realized I had not signed the summons. Does this have to be signed? And just the court copy, or the copy you send to the plaintiff, too? Will they let me come in and sign it, or do I need to print up a whole new copy to filed? I already sent my answer to the plaintiff. I guess if I have to sign that copy, too, I will do it and pay another $4 or so to send it certified, return requested, like I did the other one.

I'm self employed and do not take a wage for me, but I have another account with direct deposit retirement monies going in? I'm 62 years old
