Who are these frigging people??? What are they going to do...send some goomba to break my kneecaps??? I've been trying to contact them via email, regular mail (send back "undeliverable") and phone ('we're sorry, due to high volume, call back..."). They can find me [no problem] and send me threatening letters (PAY OR ELSE...ELSE WHAT?) I have had it. This stupid $200.00 loan was not worth this aggravation. What am I supposed to do??? Thank for letting me vent...I'm so mad...

Interesting story on the local news tonight. It seems that San Francisco is proposing an ordinance that would ban new PDL stores in several lower-income sections of the city (the Tenderloin and Hunter's Points neighborhoods among them) and would ban new PDL's from going into stores that are within so many feet of existing ones. Naturally, the PDL industry is up in arms, saying that people only use them responsibly, blah blah. I will keep you all posted..

I googled FL law regarding worthless checks and here is what it says... ...4. Filing Criminal Charges - To file a criminal charge, go to the law enforcement agency which has jurisdiction over the location where the check was issued. The following documents must be presented when charges are filed on worthless checks: a. The original check(s) and the original certified/registered mail receipt (green card) from the notice, or the returned unopened envelope containing the notice. b. Names of witnesses who know something about the check. c. The complaint affidavit fully completed and notarized.

I got the green card back from my DV letter to Genesse Valley Associates, so the clock is now ticking. Let's see if they validate! I also got a letter from the Texas AG today, and they are going to start looking into the violation of the Texas Debt Collection Act so far. Will be watching very closely to see what Genesee's next step will be.

I got an email from John Miller of Capital Collections on behalf of Cash Advance. It is a draft of a memo to the Orlando FL police for a worthless check. It lists my old closed account (a Maryland bank) and says that I wrote a check in Orlando in May 2006.

I recieved a **Notice of summons in action for money only** letter from Franklin Co (ohio) Municipal Court, Small Claims. It was filed from Advance Pay of Ohio, a store front lender. My court date is not until 10/02. Im filing for Bankruptcy. I'm paying my retainer on 09/28. And don't know if I still have to go ? I plan on talking to my lawyer about it tomorrow, but I'm going nutts just thinking about it tonight, and I know I'm not going to get a wink of sleep until I find out.

i just got served papers from household bank and im NOT able to make my court date i now live out of state far away and im not sure if i can be arrested or what can happen? whats the worse that can happen because i really CANT pay on those cards or afford the court fees

In Nebraska (and I'm sure it is similar in other states as well), make sure to let your lender who won't leave you alone know that any person operating a PDL business in Nebraska without a license shall be guilty of a Class IV felony. That ought to make them stop... or at the very least, prohibit them from ever coming into your state to collect!
