This morning I got a call from someone foreign, I could barely understand telling me they were going to arrest me at work, take legal action and have my lawyer call back if I didn't call. I called back to see what they were taking about and they said I defaulted on a payday loan and they were going to take action. Now I HAVE defaulted on a payday loan but already paid it back years ago. He preceded to list 5 payday lenders it could be, like he wasnt sure which one it was until I said it. I think one he said was FSM Marketing.

Greetings all; 37 days ago I wrote a DV letter to a law office that contacted me telling me that they repreent Sears and that I need to pay on a credit card bill that I stop making payment on back in April 2005. The threatened to sue me and to garnish my wages. Two weeks after receiving the DV letter that I sent they back to me telling that they were trying to validate the debt. Now that 37 days has past, 7 more days than what I gave them in my DV letter, should I write them and tell them that they failed to verifiy the debt and that this means that the debt is invalid?

Yes i dealt with valentine and kebartas when Chase gave them my account when it was charged off. they're agressive and nasty at times. plus a little bit dirty, i told them absolutly do not call my parents number when calling me. i got a loan from my mom and to make sure her check would be good she called the place that gave her the checks and they assured her it was a good check. lo and behold the collection agent called both my parents number and mine to let me know the check wasnt good and to make other arrangements. as my father found out about this problem and was very upset about it.

I have quite a few payday loans (information below) and while I haven't missed any payments yet, I can see the trouble right around the corner. Many of these payday loans I have paid off and then subsuquently renewed, so for many of them, I have not paid much on the new loan. Anyway, I need some ideas for debt consolidation, or really, just any ideas on how to get this under control.

Can someone please give me some advice i took out a loan from debt doctor and plaza processing. I paid them more than enough i had to close my account they told me my account went to collections gave me a number to a voice mail that has a full mail box now this frank miller guy says im going to get arrested he has all of my info!! I have two collection accounts, one with CACH LLC, the other with LVNV funding. The account with CACH LLC, was forwarded to Bronon and Migliaccio LLP and the one with LVNV funding was forwarded to Weltman, Weinberg and Reis. The funny thing about it is that WV state code 46A-2-123 states that: Unless a licensed attorney in this state, no debt collector shall engage in conduct deemed the practice of law.
