Hi, I'm brand new to the site and in "desperate" need of assistance! I live in California and have several payday loans that I'm defaulting on and also have credit card debt that I'm defaulting on. I'm a single mom taking care of myself, my son and my parents. I have been able to juggle for a few years but just can't seem to do it successfully anymore. I'm looking for recommendations on reputable companies that will help me consolidate my payday loan debts and credit card debt, but still leave me able to survive! Hey guys! Well after yesterday's stint of guests & their nasty put downs, I'm getting nervous about sending out the emails and certified letters. I'm afraid of my references being called which happen to be my sister & my brother on several of the loans as well as two friends. Nobody knows about the situation I'm in...especially my brother & sister. My parents have done so much to help me over the past 4 years, between a divorce, new marriage, a bankruptcy, birth of my daughter, purchasing my house to get out of an outrageous ARM loan. I'm so afraid of disappointing them.

I don't have the actual law for Wisconsin, but I talked to the Attorney General's Office, and they said if the lender solicits loans (by e-mail or advertising) to people in Wisconsin, then they must have a License in Wisconsin. If you go to there website and/or seek them out, then they have to comply with the laws of the State the are located in.

Hey everyone, I'm new on this forum and I need some help. Are ameriloan and Payday Yes legal in California? I have a loan with both. I had a interest payment with Payday Yes returned and was able to work out a payment plan with them for only the principle. They were actually pretty easy to deal with. Did they work out a payment plan with me for just the amount borrowed because they are illegal in California? I'm just asking because my payment for Ameriloan is going to be returned and I want to know what my rights are. Thank you, Ed.

I am in the process of trying to find debt settlement help. I received a call today at work from a company called Zieweicki stating they were a collection attorney and they were going to serve me if i didnt pay my AMEX debt today. What do i do?
