When someone post a response to my thread, how do i respond to them without posting a new topic? :?

Ok..here's the deal...long post, sorry. I am 13 months into a 3-year Chapter 13 repayment plan. As most of you know, I am a single parent. The drastic drop in my income due to my Ch. 13 payments coming out of my paycheck has made my life very difficult. I lost a large portion of my paycheck to this, and what's left after the Ch. 13 payment, taxes, and health/life insurance is barely enough to scrape by on. I receive child support, so when that comes in once a month, we scramble to pay bills, get as many groceries as we can, etc.

I posted this under debt consolidation but I guess I should have put it under here. I have heard Magnum Cash Advance mentioned on this site before and I thought that they had always been referred to as a licensed company. I looked on the Delaware state website and can not find a license for them under any of these names: Magnum Cash Advance, Magnum Funding or Military Financial Network. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm trying to find out if they are licensed as they state they are.

I was just notified a civil complaint was filed against me and a hearing is scheduled for the end of this month. This is for a credit card balance of about 4000 from several years ago. The account was opened about 10 years ago, I used it and paid on it for several years but eventually fell behind, the interest rate was like 38% and I never made a dent in what I owed, I don't think I ever made more than 500 to 1,000 in purchases in total. Well eventually I just gave up and forgot about it.

How does a collection company purchase a debt from the original credit card company? My credit report says that a credit card has charged off how can someone else buy that account? Is that legal? Did the collection company pay my debt? If they paid my debt I should be paid in full on the one account.

How do I find out if a company is licensed. Magnum Cash Advance is supposed to be in Delaware. Why don't they come up as licensed on the state website? Am I doing something wrong. Magnum's website states that they are licensed in Delaware.

Can anyone tell me what the period of enforceability is in Texas? When does a debt get too old that they can no longer come after you for it?

Hello guys, not sure if this is the right place; was just wondering how I get to upload a video in a thread. I clicked on the YouTube VIDEO button and put in the url and the result was a black box with nothing in it. I was wondering, how do I get the video to show up on the screen? Thanks alot!
