going through the steps to revoke these Payday Loan companies from drawing from my account. Sent faxes and letters 2 of them have tried to contact me by phone, so obviously they recieved the faxes (MTE however has not contacted me LOL) now with those 2 companies recieving those letters does anyone think Theyll still try to pull from my account on Friday?

Ready to laugh...look at this email I got from ZipCash. Oh suuuuure, let me give you access to my new account AND allow you to contact me by phone again. they must have gotten my letter. What they dont get is that I have grossly OVERPAID them..

I currently have 5 payday loans. I know one is legit and follows the laws of my state. The others I am not sure, I don't think they are. I live in Illinois.

Hello ~ I've taken a big step in really taking control of my finances...since after all this time...they were really controlling me. I've printed copies of my credit reports from all three bureaus. My question is in regards to accounts that are turned over the collections. More specifically...my student loans. Each check issued per semester was given a different account number so therefore it shows up on my credit report as a whole list of different accounts.

Can a CA sue in a court where you don't live? Or can they only sue in your local county court? I live in TX, if that makes a difference. Thanks!

I received a voicemail last night, from a "Janie" at a "Reisen Law Firm" (not sure of spelling), asking me to call her back with a reference number she provided in the message, regarding a legal matter. I googled the phone number, nothing. I googled the area code, Warwick NY. I looked up law firms in Warwick, in the "R's", nothing. I looked up collection agencies in Warwick, only 1 hit, but with a different phone #. Has ANYONE had any dealings with them? I called today, and got a generic voice message that didn't mention which the company I was calling. This sounds somewhat fishy to me!

I sent a validation letter saying to communicate with me only by USPS, but I got an urge to call them after I received a letter from them. But I was not able to speak to the person in charge of this account. Should I NOT call them? It was only $50, so I just want to take care of it quickly as long as they can verify it is the money I owe. Thanks.

i filed a ch13 and now my net income has changed due to employees. now i would like to take and early discharge maybe but use a program to get similar payment results without losing all my stuff u know. after your discharge form a chapter 13 neg or pos can u still make arrangements with creditors to pay without the problem of leins on prp and other stuff..

I am wondering what is the smartest way out of debt. There is debt settlement, debt consolidation loans, and debt management programs. Which is the smartest way out of debt? I have about $21K in debt and am behind on payments. I need to do something NOW, but need help doing it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Chris
