What happens to people who have asked for debt validation and have proof of signed receipt of debt dispute and company sends 2 more letters after proof of dispute-- with their own letterhead and "made-up"statement-not validation-when you don't pay because you don't owe money--do they sell to other companies and then you are still having to prove you don't owe money? how long does this last?

Came out of a bad marriage about 8 years ago. During my marriage, my ex-husband ran up a lot of debt in my name. I had the standard....gas card, visa card, department store card (usually used to get the kids clothes), etc. My ex would insist that he get his own card, even though my name was the only one on the account as being the responsible party! Why didn't I just say no? My ex is not a very nice person, and is an even meaner person when he is drunk or stoned! If I didn't let him have his way, I would pay...and that would usually mean getting thrown around in front of my kids!

I am late with my carnot and would like a sample letter to send to creditor to apologies for late payment.

Has anyone used him for payday loans?

Someone told me that you can take advantage of the forebearance/deferrment option for many months, is this correct? I have had my loan in forebearance for almost 2 years, everytime it comes due, I apply again and they grant it to me. Just wondering.

I have an online PDL with Paychecktoday. I live in Arizona and I could not find them licensed here. I tried to contact them by phone prior to my due date and got no response so I closed my bank account before they could take anymore money. I received an e-mail 4 days after my due date stating that my balance with them was $510.00 but they would settle for $390.00. Which surprisingly is the amount of my original loan of $300.00 + the $90.00 they were charging me every 2 weeks.

I am getting ready to DV LVNV. Please let me know what you think of my letter..I am holding nothing back and going for the throat.

I live in Texas and have several pdl's. Is it legal for storefront lenders to have you write post dated checks? Also, is it legal for them to have you write more than one at a time?
