The account was opened in CA in 2003 and SOL has just been expired. Yet, I relocated to NY where SOL is 2 longer than CA. That means SOL of the account will be anothe 2 years???

I received and e-mail from Joe at pay check today. It said: You are from Florida listed an old address That is what you put on your application. Balance $420.00 I have not lived at the address he listed for 6 - 8 years. I would never have used that address. WOuld he have looked me up in some data base somewhere to get info? And no I do not have mypaperwork anymore..I can not find it.

Does anybody know what the statue of limitations are on a credit card debt? It has been charged off. the last activity was 2001. it states the the original credit has closed the file, or something to that effect.

So i just got a call from webpayday. Oh and they call me everyday. I borrowed $400.00 dollars from them on my first loan. Paid it off last year and recently got another loan from them for another $400.00. I havent made a payment to them because i got so caught up in other payday loans until i closed my bank account. I have had every intention on paying them until I found out today that i paid them a total of $880.00 on my first loan. Which means totally i borrowed $800.00 from them and i have paid them back $880.00. They owe me 80 bucks but I dont even care about it.

Can anyone tell me, after the settlement process is completed, how long it takes to see credit scores start to rise again? I will have no trouble, during the settlement, making my other bills on time. This will include using gas cards. I will have some positive things going on at the same time.

Hi, I posted in one of the forum/topics under LVNV, but still ended up being stuck. To make the story short, I was denied in being able to rent an apartment (parents trying to get me and my family and brother out of the house now that I started working again) due to screening my background and finding one collection in both my TransUnion & Experian credit reports by LVNV for $3003, with a credit limit of $2208. I tried to talk to my friend, who works in the mortgage business, about it, and although he tried to explain it to me the best way possible, I still don't understand it.

Hello Everybody, I have been repeatedly called by Leading Edge Recovery Solutions at home after 9pm and at work. My boss and I have told them not call call me at work. I did receive a letter from them and am sending the following response. Please let me know if I'm setting the wrong tone. I don't know about the debt but would pay if it is real but want to set a definitive tone with them as to how they should treat and contact me.

my husband and i have 3 payday loans that are from the internet. i have read some testimonials and they suggest to close your bank account. If we were to do that then what happens, how do you pay them off? I am from minnesota please help.
