basically about a year ago i was really stupid about mid semester and ran out of money and got a credit card with $2000 limit. it got sent or bought by creditors interchange. i m finally in a position to fix this so i decided to give them a call. apparently with fees my final cost on the card was around 3200. after talking on the phone with them for five minutes they said that $1825 would be enough to settle because everything after that was fees and interest which is true. they first asked for the money up front immediately and i explained to them that was not an option.

Does anybody know when would a garnishment of bank account expire? Asset Acceptance obtained a judgment and froze my account. I signed a paper in which I agree not to use the head of household defense,and pay the amount I owe them. Now,after almost 90 days they want me to sign again the same paper (small difference which doesn't affect me). Initialy they told me that by signing this agreement,I will have my account back in 3-4 weeks max.,but are almost 90 days and I have to sign again, and wait again for the paper to reach the court.

Has any one heard of Premium Assest Recovery Corp. Seems like they are out of Deerfield Beach, FL. I gather that they are operating badly or worse. Any one have any infomation on them are has delt with them. Please let me know. They called my house and left a message today. Not sure why. All I owe is one payday loan; a storefont in IL. It is in default for sometime. Someone please help. thanks

Alright here's the deal. I'm going to have to file bankruptcy, and there's now way I can pay off the debt in 5 years so chapter 13 is out. But, I don't really have any assets to liquidate, so I'm wondering if there's a certain law I missed somewhere that says you have to have so much in assets to file a chapter 7. Any info would be appreaciated. I feel guilty about doint it but I've run out of other options. JB

I received a voice mail regarding my ex's wife. Same as the other writer's descriptions. From Urie Cty, summons issued since a letter had been sent to her and there was no response for 30 days blah blah... I asked how my name got on their call list for her and they said she put me down as a contact. (A little hard for me to believe!). We are talking about a woman I have never talked to and an ex who I have not spoken to since the divorce in 1986.

I totally agree with the comments on poor customer service from Mezy!! I have been in this program for about 14 months now and they never contact me, update me on my case, NOTHING!! The only way I find anything out is by calling them. I have paid the FEE and now I have a small balance in my esgrow account. I just called them for an update and was told that the last time a negotiator called my creditors, no settlement was reached. That was 2 months ago. The lady said she would have them call again. I am supposed to be finished with this program around Feb/Mar 08 timeframe.

need some advice on this company. have they got a good name or what. do this company actually really work for you? i have all credit card debt. at the point i cant make the actually min payments now. what to do something about it. didnt know about this company or if i need to just call my creditors and see if they would do a settlement with me then try to get a loan to pay all of them off and have one payment once and for all. Sent out letters certified/return receipt to GFSIL and World Wide Cash...both came back. They no longer exist at the addresses I could find for them.
