So I was making payments to an account that I owed on. At the time it was with another CA, I requested them to send me a paper statement and I never received one after several requests. I could never get through to anyone either... so it's been a month since I have made a payment. Now central credit services has the account. They have been calling me and they have also called my boyfriend.

how do i word an email or letter to be sent to a lender to resolve the payment matter and to set up a payment method that we can work on?

I'm finding this forum so very helpful in cleaning up my credit and want to first say thank you to everyone for such wonderful insight! :D Now, I'm going to try to briefly explain my situation and hopefully I can get some feedback as to what I should do. came out here to see if anyone has dealt with American General. I also have a loan with them for $1500 I believe $500 is interest.. I got behind two months and they started calling my references.. came to my home and left a card with the person that answered the door.. and then when i tried to talk to him on a Monday and gave them a post dated check for that friday 5 days away he said no they could not take it that i must borrow the money from somoene that they HAVE to have it in their office by the next day post dated for wed.

I just closed my checking account....can you tell me please what I am to expect now? How should I handle the emails and calls that come in? What should I do about them trying to contact my references and job? I am going to have assistance with Langhorne in a week. But I am wondering what I should do/expect in the meantime?

Well, I'm not officially cleared of my pdl's, HOWEVER, all my letters, faxes, emails, and complaints must have done SOMETHING. Checked my bank account today...NO DEBITS from any of them!! WOW!!! I'm excited, but, wondering what happened...hmmm...hoping I'll get a PIF in the mail. I'll keep writing just to make sure I don't get a debit from them all the sudden. I have several (illegal) ipdls that have an arbitration clause in the contract, along with a clause not to joint a class action lawsuit. Do they ever enforce these arbitration clauses? It sounds pretty funny, since they are illegal anyway. Sounds like the borrower should be able to win the arbitration pretty easily!
