well, I've been an email and faxin' fool !! I sent emails to the one's that I could and faxed all of my payday loans yesterday, telling them that I closed my checking account and filed a complaint with the AG of Florida. I have already heard from PayDay Select, they are "sad that I am not happy with their services and I can consider my loan paid in full" ( hehehehe) and they other one, VC finance, reduced the amount down to less than I borrowed and gave me till the end of September to pay them off. I cannot believe it ! I am sooooooooooo glad that I listened to you guy's.

I sent a standardized validation letter in mid December to AAC and received a replay that did not fulfill the requirements of the validation letter. I also included the notice of written request for a cease to any telephone communication threatening continued calls would be considered harassment. I sent this certified mail and still have a copy of the signed letter and the receipt of the mailing. Today I received a phone call on my cell phone from a rep of AAC.

Has anyone gotten calls from 866-504-7548? They call me on a daily basis at my employer and on my cell phone. Threatening messages are left. Please help. What company is this????

Hi again, I got another PIF this morning--from Payday OK! I know this is an easy one...but I am still excited. Meanwhile, Platinum CashNow called about my NSF ACH.I have paid them 300. They say I still owe $800. My loan was only $500! I sent them an e-mail revoking my ach, also a letter, and an e-mail stating the laws of my state (Oklahoma). I have filed a complaint with my state Consumer Credit Bureau, and am preparing my paperwork for the AG. I know I need to file with the BBB, but I need an address for Platinum Cash Now. I can't even pull up their website today! Can anyone help?

I am now emailing them daily. They marked my loan PIF and then sent a message that they were researching my refund request. I paid them $2375 for a $500 in California. I also over paid by $2k for a previous loan with them. I have done everything and now they will not answer my emails. Got a call from ameriloan today stating that they wanted to work out some arrangements with paying the loan off. I told the gentleman that I spoke with I have paid mounds of money to them. I told them they were operating illegally in NC. They stated that they contacted the NC AG office and they said they weren't illegal. They said that they are going to try to debit my account again and then report me to telecheck and a third party collection.

Bought a business two years ago, and now has debt of over $60K. Trying to sell the business but will takes time. If business sell, may be able to pay back. But right now the monthly payment is killing me and I am also late in my rent (business) - 3 months. Thinking of debt settlement so I can at least afford to pay rent every month instead of paying all these CC bills. What do you think? Business is still running but not enough to cover all bills. I'm also just started working full time to help paying all these bills. Stupid moved on my side of buying the business!

How do I find out if they are licensed to business in the state of PA.

I had a credit card debt that was sent to the "Bureau of Collections Recovery Inc. located at 757 corporate Way, EdenPrairie MN, 55344. Here is what happened...... I spoke to several different people on several different dates at the collection recovery INC. The debt was for $2175.19. A verbal agreement was made on the phone for a settlement amount of $1100.00. I asked for a settlement letter and was told I had to pay the $1100.oo first, then the letter would be sent to me. I paid the amount via debit card. I was told that in 30 days I would received a settlement letter.
