I have 12 on line pay day loans and want to know how to make a pay them off through a debt settlement company? I was contacted by Lanhorne Debt Settlement out of Langhorne, PA but they only wanted mony for there fee but never sent me a retainer as they stated in there paper work. I want to pay them all off but do nto have the funds to pay the total amount to pay them all off at one time. What is my best solution to slve this problem?

I got a letter today from midland credit management, asking for a debt in the amount of $1,181.56. The Debt is from Aspire Visa, a card I used to have (I no longer have or use any credit cards, obviously).. I could not pay it all off since I lost my job and i'm having trouble finding a new one. I can't pay off this debt in this amount .. it originally was NOT over $1,000, it was $630. They added on all these late fees / interest when I could not pay over a amount of time.

Someone with a similar name has a lot of debt. I'm sorry for their problems, but we aren't responsible. Yet, we keep getting harassed. The latest is this Genesse Valley Associates, who phoned, got very rude, ugly..threatened to sue. After we PROVED they had the wrong person, they profusely apologized. They were trying to collect a debt for a card (Providian) that my wife has never, ever had. Or any subsidiary of Providian. Now a few months later, they send her a threatening letter...for *another* debt.

I want to begin negotiating the deletion of a Charge Off that I incurred about a year ago from US Bank. The problem is that I don't know where to begin! I've read about sending a certified letter and to keep everything in writing. I've read that it is okay to call and strike an agreement and get it in writing also. I will be paying in full a $790 charge from my college credit card that I flubbed up with them. Any suggestions would be very welcome! :D

OK! The collection agency wants the money NOW! I stated I would like to make payment arrangements but I was told they could not do that. I send them what I could afford. I received a letter from them. It states they got my $60.00 but what the remained by 8/20/07. What should I do?

Hi everyone! I have a loan with this company, and I searched through most of the threads but did not see any reference to them. I am in NY. I have paid them $180 so far, and the loan was for $300. I have no contact info for them, the only way to get through to them is to e-mail through their site, which I have done, but they never respond! I want to pay them what I owe them and that's it. Of course, they say I still owe them $300.

I have been in America for almost 5 years. I'm 22 years old and just got on my own since I moved out here, as my family all stayed back to my country Estonia. I didn't realize that getting my credit cards would be such a stress and it got out of hand and I can't catch up. My credit is messed up and I can't do anything. Please give me a chance to be able to pay off my credit cards and make payments for the debt consolidation so that I can start over and build up my credit for successful future.
