Need some advise on this letter sent back from an Illigal payday lender, I have paid them 1055.00 on a 500.00 loan and in the state of wyoming they are no rollovers or extentions allowed and they are suppose to have a license to do business in my state. They are using the tribal scenerio on me, they are not licensed in wyoming and I believe they are not in this country as they do not supply a physical address on their website. peppercash.com. How can I find the licensing data base for payday lenders? I live in NM.

I really hope that I can find some relief myself with these payday loans. I got in trouble when my husband passed away. I do have one that I have been paying on forever. With the interest and loan amount I can't seem to break ground and I was told that I can't simply pay on it thru the month. How do I find out how much I have been paying in interest on this loan. I got it during the Summer of last yr.

Yesterday I got a call from same lady stating she had documents to bring by my house for me to sign to go to court over a pay day loan I did online on 4-5-2008. She gave me a number to call I called it back the guy was rude he did not tell me his name or company. Today they called me again and told me that they are going to bring the papers by my house for me to sign and that i better be there ame lady. They told me they filed them in them in the county clerks office which I checked and there is nothing. They have called my father and my in-laws house as well.

This is a vicious cycle. I really need some advice on how to pay off these loans. I have been paying them every pay day barely getting by until one of them made a mistake and tried to take out the entire amount of the loan which they admitted they did by mistake because of their system error. It was with Cash Net USA for $2270. Once they tried to take out the full amount it cause other checks & PDL to be returned or I incurred bank fees as a result. I have been reading the posts but I am still a little confused on whether or not internet PDL is legal in Ohio.

I haven't been able to find a thread that states the online payday loan laws for New York. I am trying to get these illegal payday loan "companies" out of my life, an when they send me replies to my ach revocation letter, I want to reply with a brief, easy to understand paragraph or two describing the payday loan law for New York. If you already posted it, please post the link. Or please just reply with it. I might have missed it... Please help!!

What do you do when they refuse to cease and desist. The "mr Hamilton" stated he did not have to listen to me because I broke the law by writing worthless checks. He stated he was not trying to collect money but yet he is still calling my job and facing papers for wage verification
