Ok, I worked Lyle Lovett/KD Lang on Sunday--and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to. I had the honor of being in the house for most of the show. I have always loved KD Lang, and now I am a confirmed Lyle Lovett fan. He was smart, intelligent and really rocked the house with music from all styles: from Bluegrass to Rock. Plus his Large Band was GREAT!!!!! I was also able to get $5 vouchers for my friends, which made me feel good.

GECC sent me a registered letter today. Of course they are denying they have to follow NY laws since they are in Delaware and licensed in Delaware blah blah blah. Out of the goodness of there heart they are willing to release me from further obligation of $335 (when I paid $821 on a $400 loan) IF I sign and fax back a confidential Mutual Release agreement AND agree to withdraw anything I may have filed against them with the AG and or BBB. What is the procedure to collect a debt before it goes to a collection agency?

Do not use this company. They will steal your money from your trust account and use for their own purposes. I was stationed overseas and when I returned I looked at my account and I have had several debits from my account payable to American Liberty Financial but no settlements. While I was in Iraq, I had paid over 5k into my escrow account thinking I was nearly paid off with my creditors. I have not settled one account to date and I have a grand total of $257.00 in my account. This all took place within the past few months.

Have anyone gotten a response from them at all about there payday loan? I have a loan for 500.00 and paid $725.00. I send a couple e-mails,called and sent a letter and no response at all. Thanks Cindy
