trying to repay collection agencies

18 years 7 months ago
Hi, Few years ago, when i was in college, I maxed all my credit cards. I was broke and did not have any money to pay. All the accounts were charged off and referred to collection agencies. Now I have a good job and want to pay back all the loan. I know that paying back will not improve my score, but atleast I am hoping to get the negatives removed from my credit history. I will pay all the collection agents in another month or so.

Bad Credit Loan

Hi: I need some information if someone could help me. I've been offered a $5,000 with a monthly payment of 189.99/monthly. My credit is very bad with accounts that are on delinquency. I'm trying to get a loan to bring my accounts to a current balance. This company offering me the loan is called Enterprises Financial. The company is asking me for 700.00 to secure the loan with a lowest rate of 7%, which I find too low due to my credit condition. The lady assisting me told me that after I pay the 700.00 I don't have to pay anything else and the loan can be approved between 24 - 48 hrs.

Just read an article....

That said Tennesee has the highest divorce rate and bankruptcy rate in the country. Wonder if that's because the state refuses to stand up to these IPDL lenders. I can see the connection...if they refuse to help people who get suckered by these companies...divorce and bankruptcy could be a likely result. Just a thought.

Spoke with Bank

What a disaster I created by taking out these damn loans. US FastCash happened to squeeze $50.00 out of my account on 7-20 after I sent them notification to stop on 7-17. Since I copied my bank on this, they said I would get reimbursed. Great! This after they tried 5 times to get money. At $35.00 a pop, this really sucks. Ambassador Fund tried 7 times. I spoke with my bank and the rep said they can try as many times as they want. She said she can not close my account since I now have a -$596.00 balance. She was very nice, but she could not do anything. She switched me to the fraud dept.

So these animals have been trying to collect $480.00 on a $150.00 Loan. I made 2 payment arrangements BUT becuse of financial dificulty, I couldnt make the payments. I then contacted these animals and asked if i THEY could make me a settlement offer on Friday July 20th. They agreed and i sent a payment via Money Gram, payment was $75.00 towards the $250.00 settlement. They debited from my savings account, unauthorized $195.00 same day. So that made $270.00 on a $250.00 settlement.

I want the least impact on my Credit score

18 years 7 months ago
I have a large credit card debt. I have two cards that I make monthly minimum payments to but it is getting hard to make these payments. I usually end up having to use the one to live one after I make the payment. I have tried to get refinanced and get a home equity line and loan. I also tried a personal loan but I can't get enough to cover the debts. I don't know what else to do. I have a good credit score, but keep finding myself in more trouble. I don't know where to start and I want the least impact on my credit score.
