Ok, forum. Listen up! Sonic finally contacted my HR and payroll department. Sent a letter wanting my employer to confirm: ss # title address last time I got paid and guess who sign the letter? Mandeep Bruce. The most unfriendly, unhuman, nasty, etc., I have ever spoken on the phone. Then to top it off, the address states in Malta. My HR person ask where the hell is Malta, I told her Ireland. She said, Ireland. They are do bussiness in the US. I said yeah, they are illegal and dont accept payment arrangements because they dont have an office in the US. She said dont pay them then.

Here's what's happening here. I have an account in collections, that was with NCO. It's an Amex. I sent Amex and NCO a settlement proposal letter, and also informed them that all communication must be by mail. I received one phone call from my collection agent after that who told me that I needed to call her back to discuss it, and I did not. She never called again. I kept up payments, and made the payments I proposed in the debt settlement letter, and received nothing else in the mail. My debt was passed to a different collection agency.

Maybe this is in the wrong section since by this time one might be dealing with the courts. The situation is this : CA sues debtor, CA wins at trial, debtor pays amount of judgement in full at that time. In this situation, does the judgement still go on the debtor's credit report?

I sent off validation letters to two agencies on the 23th of last month. I received both cards back showing receipt on the 24th and 25th. I received a response from one of them today. That only contained my original loan agreement. Here's the problem. Both my ex and I took out loans for truck driving school. One in his name, one in mine. I co-signed on his to push it through (it was my way of getting out of a bad situation). I went to great lengths to get mine paid off. I assumed the one they were trying to collect on was his, since he died last year.

Ricahrd Brennon just called me back and recommended me American credit counseling Incorporated. He said he only does debt settlement which negatively affects your credit. He said no money goes to him when you are cutting interest on cards which is called debt reconstruction. He was very helpful and did not recommend any other organizations. I was very pleased because he seem to have helped me out. Sorry for those that said they got ripped off na dhope everything works out.

I recieved something on my daughter's acct from Medical Revenue services... need help explaining what this means plz... Says Acct. placement 333.20 Money Order agency 249.90 then Discount Of Acct 83.30 Net balance for this acct 0.00 Net Balance for all accts 0.00 This was supposed to be a PIF, this is NOT how i'm reading it.... am i right here? Confused again! Also got something for me from true credit new view of my credit report from Citi Bank... any clues?? I have NOT applied for ANY credit with anyone but sallie mae....

I about got scammed by brennon but found this website the day I signed up with rtc corp that refereed me to brennon, smith and associates. First I paid freedom for today 599.00 to reduce my interest rates. It took two months to get the paper work so I disputed the charge on my credit card and got my money back. Then I decided to go ahead and send the paperwork i finally recieved back to them just to see what would happened. I was referred to RTC corp in which they were the ones that got me signed up with brennon, smith and associates.
