i went to pull up my credit report from all three bureaus. All my debts that i paid/currently paying off are being reflected on my credit reports. which is good news. But i found one surprise. On my Transunion report, i found a debt for $77 from RJM Acquisitions. it doesnt say what it's for and it was opened on 10/05. I did some research and I found that they are junk debt buyer but i have no other debt. Some people who have this placed on there credit report have been members of book clubs.

how to stop idenity theft with no cost to me ,especially i've never put myself at risk .

I have two cards with fairly minor debts on them but interest rates are ridiculous. I want to consolidate to not only get away from paying credit card companies a bunch of money but I want to be out of credit card debt in the next 12 months so I can save for my future retirement funds.

my wife got a call last night from this number 1-877-320-5615. If was a KC Scott. he said he was a lawyer and that my wife had a debt of 8500.00 from 4 years ago and if she did not make arraingements to pay if off tonight he would be forced to file a 1099c with the IRS or take us to court. She can't remember the name of the company but she did tell me that he also called her mother and got her all worried. My wife can't remember aything like that unless it was an old credit card. Can anyone help

My mother just received a summons for me. I assume I have to appear in court but she's in panic mode so I can't understand a word she's saying. I'm not living there right now (California)- I'm in a foreign country. I haven't been there in about 7 months. I never even heard of the creditor that she mentioned. Do I really need to respond? How can they even prove that I received the papers if I myself wasn't there to receive them? She claimed that a sheriff hander her the paperwork - she said that I wasn't there.

OMG, the game is starting here in the Bay Area--and for the first time in years, it's RAINING in July here!!!!!!!!!!!! Go figure, RAIN in July in the Bay Area???????????? Why would I be banned?

I have 5 payday loans (pdls) out and can't repay them because I still have bills. Is there any consolidation loan i could do or is there any help short of taking out a loan---which I can't do either. Please advise me

I'm trying to find a company that will give me a small loan ($1500-$3000) to get caught up on some bills and all I can find is pay day loans. Been there - done that and don't want to go that route again!! Any ideas?
