I am in pa and have 5 payday loans i can't keep this up. HELP :oops: :oops: I have a loan with Geneva Roth....the loan ammount was for $400.00 they deposited $800 instead....I called them and told them what they did and they told me it was my lucky day...I told them that I couldn't afford the loan of $800 and they said that there was nothing they could do about it, that I would have to payback the interest on the FULL ammount.

is there a difference between the two, if so, how and why?

I'm trying to learn this forum but it is SO big and so much to learn on how to use it! here's my latest: I always look at latest post and sometimes I answer when someone seems desparate,even if just to let them know someone with more knowledge will be around soon. But when doing this, u end up answering post in ALL different forums.... I usually post in collection agencies but if I answer a post in another forum how do i go back to check on it later?? Is there a website that I can search to find out if a palyday loan company is licenced in Minnesota??

I recently checked my credit report. To my dismay there were some questionable reports on it. The first report is from allied interstate Inc. for the amount of $450, I have no idea where this came from and why its on my credit. The other one is from World Finance, I contacted them and they said that apperently I had taken out a $100 personal loan about two years ago and had never made a payment on it. They told me my information over the phone which is quite unusual for a personal loan buisness.

Fellows, I have this very unique experience I would like to share with you in this related forum, about the ways they (debt collectors) do in Asia. I am half-Asian, grew up in Ireland, after graduation I came back to teach English in Asia. Personally, this story is not about my personal debt, but it is about my students' debts. Their families owed to someone else, I guess. The incidents stunned me. It happened in 3 different countries, with the same debt collectors.

Anyone know or hear of a Sara Rubin? Is she a Capital One representative or a collector? i received a proof of debt from her had it no account number on it,just had a balanced,then interest amount and attorney fees. shouldn't there be more on a proof of debt form that she took oath to be true and have notarized?
