I have recieved a automated phone call that have left many messages and when i do finally call back they say they have an affidavit for a settlement to pay 887.55 to edollars. I have been con'ed before and I'm wondering if these people are legit?? the real deal?? what do i do??

This company called me and claimed to be my city county clerk's office saying they are trying to serve me papers. I asked for their mailing address and phone number to call back, they gave me two numbers - both answered as Capitol Solutions. They called my workplace and talked to an assistant saying that they are trying to serve me papers. First they claimed to be the city clerk's office which is fraud, second when I spoke to a rep they said they could not send me a letter to validate their legal company.

Hi, first post on here. I know there's a ton of information on here, but I just feel everyone has a different situation. My wife and I plan on purchasing our first home January 2014. I found the loan I'm aiming for but my eligibility will be dependent on my credit score. I signed up for a credit monitoring program so I can track my progress for the next 12+ months. My 3 scores came back as: 673, 691, 731 I was told that my middle credit score has to be a 720 or higher to get the mortgage. So, I'm fairly close, but I don't want to just barely make it.

Hi, I am trying to deal with mycashnow.com here in Pennsylvania. Today, I called them but they can't help me because they transferred my account to a company called Credit Protection Dept...which sounds like a credit collections agency. So what should I do now? Should I call the collections agency and offer to pay just the principle of the payday loan? Or do I now need to pay the whole thing? I am unsure what to do now. Thanks!

Good afternoon, I am attempting to apply for a mortgage. Prior to application, I allowed a mortgage lender to pull my credit for review. He advised me that the underwriters do not want to see more than $1000 in collections on credit bureau. I have saved enough earnest money ($500) which I am willing to settle an account for $300 hoping they take the money. One medical collection is $1276 and has been out there since 2007 due to discharge 2014. I have 2 others which as I recall one is $276 and the other may be about $90.

I am trying to pay off lawyer fees but the lawyer is charging 50% interest making it impossible to get paid off and causing what I owe to be doubled. What can I do about this?

Has anyone used Payday Support Center to consolidate loans? My husband made three different loans and put us in a jam! Is this a good company that can help?:confused:
