My bills have been overwhelming and i am currently in collections as well. I'm a single mother of 3 children and am working full time trying to make an honest living. As far as i know i owe over 3,000 dollars in debt and my water just got shut off for 110.00, which will be 143 to turn it back on. My pg&e is due on the 29th of $101. I will not be able to pay that as well. But most importantly my rent.. Is 1100 due on the 20th. I have only 400 dollars to my name which i can't use because i'm trying to come up with the rest for my rent.

 

I filed complaints against my pdls....

OK...I spent most of today filling out complaint forms for my AG's Consumer Complaint Division. They are ready to go to the post office tomorrow morning.I only filed complaints against 6 of my 10 pdls. The 6 that I know I over paid...the other 4 I left in my debt management program for now since I sincerly do owe on the principle in those cases. I also have the letters ready to go out to the pdls. I emailed some but also wanted to send these certified mail...thing is I can't afford to do that this week.

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do (legally) about this outfit except file complaints with the appropriate authorities. I am filing my complaint with the FTC. Personally, I'm doing some "reverse intimidation" and intend to make a visit to Ontario and kick some butt!!! I promised "Mr. David" I would kick his ass up one side of the country and down the other... ...and I intend to keep my promise!

 

Anyone had dealings with Larry Rouche and Ken Hughes?

Hi! Has anyone had any dealings with the Law Offices of Larry Rouche, and also Ken Hughes? I've been getting calls from them daily, but no correspondence explaining why they are contacting me. I have storefront pdls that I put into T&C's debt management program 3 months ago. Do storefront pdls like CheckSmart, National Check Cashers, etc. use the collection services of Larry Rouche and Ken Hughes, or are these collection agencies for credit card debt collection?

Hello all, My wife and I recently got out of a business venture that left us in the hole a great deal. Due to lack of cash flow in the biz, we compiled alot on both personal and "business" cards. In a nutshell, we don't make enough to pay all the monthly minimums, we will eventually default on something staying the course were on now, so ideally we would like to consolidate it all. Talked to the bank and they want to do a second mortgage/home equity thing. But we don't have enough equity to consolidate it all, so what's the point?

I am working hard at preparing my materials and have a few questions for everyone: 1) Should I fax/email the first copies and then mail? And should I send a copy of this letter to my bank even if I am freezing the account. 2) Has anyone actually received a refund from any of the following companies: I have overpaid all of these 1. okay I thought my bank account was supposed to close, well there was a cash advance attached to it, so they forced it open on friday and guess who all tried to debit my account. I had let me bank know previously that this was the reason it was closed due to the payday lenders. I have copies of the letters that I have faxed and email. What do I do next? :?
