So, I got a notice in the mail on Saturday from this company, by the way Receivable was mispelled, and said that I have a delinquent account with Rio Resources for $320! I had two loans, I am in WI, with them, Quickest-Cash-Advance, which I paid $500 on a $300 loan, and 500 Fast Cash, which I paid $635 on a $300 loan. Now, I filed compliants with my state DFI, is there anything else I should do? I don't owe them any more money!

Okay, so I am dealing with an Internet PDL with Eastside Lenders. According to Florida law, I have already overpaid them by $162.50. So I sent them "the letter" stating the laws of my state and that I have overpaid them, blah, blah, blah...I got a letter in the mail yesterday stating that they are licensed in Delaware, since that is where they are located, they loan in Delaware, repayments are made in Delaware. And they basically said they would use all legal avenues that they could to get me to pverpay even more. I thought they HAD to be licensed in my state as well.

i tried being nice to some "friends" and letting them stay with me for a little in the apartment i had. they ended up trashing the place and i got stuck with the bills and an eviction. i was able to take care of the apartment but am now stuck with a $700 Cox Communications bill and almost $1,000 owed to credit cards. with my current pay and bills its difficult to make any dent in those bills.

Great news for those of you residing in Oregon. Oregon legislators have enacted BILL 2204 which LIMITS PDLS to a rate of 36%! That is wonderful news for you! :D Let's see how long those pdls stay in business now at 36%! :D

This is for PA residents who are being told that there is nothing you can do to illegal internet pdls if they are licensed elsewhere. FALSE FALSE FALSE! Like I and many others have been saying FILE THOSE COMPLAINTS PA IS LISTENING. If it is ok for these internet pdls to do business in PA why is it that PA is suing internet pdls for conducting business in PA and VIOLATING PA's USURY LAWS? SO PA consumers: COMPLAIN COMPLAIN, and FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT those illegal internet pdls! :D (This is a fact that PA is going after and suing illegal internet pdls that violate PA's usury laws)

I first want to thank Kyside for turning me onto some wonderful news and an article. THANK YOU. And this gives those from OH reason to be proud. Our govenor, who oposes pdls, is putting legislators to the task of enacting laws to place CAPS on pdls which will run them out of business here in the Buckeye State, the cap would be set at 36% driving pdls OUT OF TOWN AND OUT OF THE STATE. So keep your eyes open for this new law to be passed, it will be wonderful news for those who get trapped in the pdl cycle. :D
