Well, this morning I went and paid off my second car and so now I have no car payment!!! Yeah! This is the first time in five years that this has happened for us. I also paid off two smaller credit card bills that I had in my debt settlement program. Thos went out in the mail today. I also enrolled in an online course for medical transcription. Thanks to the guidance of another forum member and dear friend! That also went out in the mail today! I was going to take care of these things yesterday but I had to go to the doctor earlier than expected.

We're filing for Ch. 13 bankruptcy on the 19th (long story short, I've struggled for 2 years to get out of the PDL trap that I got myself into, fallen behind on everything, and reached the conclusion this is what's best for us & our future). My question to those of you who have gone through bankruptcy with PDL's, how & when did you tell them you were filing? Before you filed or after? My next due date is the 15th, 4 days before we would actually file.

I have a quick question on revoking authorization. In the letter revoking can I inform them that I have filed complaints with the AG, FTC, etc. without it being considered a threat if they don't do what I ask?

In the last week i've gotten about 4 different calls about some Visa card with the last 4 digits of XXXX. I have NO such card with those numbers!! Kinda scary to me! Am i the only lucky one to get tons of 800 calls a day??? I keep trying to come up with a cute slogan to answer with but havent' come across it yet! ha ha Ang

OK, here's the scoop so far. Recieved a letter from NAFS - National Action Financial Services, Inc. Dated May 01, 2007. I got my VOD letter mailed out, CM-RRR just inside the 30 period. They recieved, signed for etc..letter on June 1. Green card back by June 4. In said letter, I requested NO phone calls, Writting only via US Mail. Also indicating that the hours of 8AM to 9PM are an Inconvenient time to call, since I'm in bed already sleeping, trying to sleep, or sloly crashing for the "night".
