Hi I am new here and am glad this forum exists. Thanks. I got an offer from chase (after second attempt) and at about 60 days of a settlement of 42%. They had me go through the confirmation process on the phone and sent out an "education letter" said that an official letter explaining the settlement agreement is on the way. Settled 5000 for 2200. It seemed too easy. Has anyone else had tho luck? thanks

I was contacted by ERS about a student loan at work. He called me by my first name and I thought the voice sounded familiar so I answered him. He went on and on about the debt and what could happen. At the end I'm to send in money and then pay a real low amount each month. But after reading some of these inquiries I don't know if the DOE contacted them or not. I'm just going to ignore the call and send payment to DOE instead. I'm just sorry they have my work number. But they can't hassle me at work that's the LAW and I'll let them know it!!!

I have had two judgements leveled against me. It was a year ago. Where do I go to pay them off?

FFG called saying I was overdrawn on a Wells-Fargo account. I did close my long time checking account with Wells in April, in good standing. Plus I still have a loan with Wells so it doesn't make any sense. FFG said I was overdrawn by 102 dollars and change - I do remember that was what I had left in the account when I closed it out. My credit rating is over 800 and I have never bounced a check in my life. How did FFG get a hold of that information on me? Did Wells sell them that information or is it made public somehow? Thanks.

Ok - so the title sounds funky. BOA wouldn't let me close my account, so I had to leave it open. I changed all of my Direct Deposits over to my new bank. Problem: I have a DD from a side job; I changed my DD and was notified that it would take up to two weeks to process my DD. It was on the 7th of Sept. I looked at my BOA account today and my side job processed a DD today. I notified the company about the DD, but is there anything they can do? BOA refuses to reverse the deposit (my account is very overdrawn thinks to our little friends).

can anyone shed some light on bill me later? my full balance is 1501.00 they are offering 1368.89 which is just principle and they keep saying "they will never come down lower " i have heard that with many creditors but they always come down lower im just concerned here because im fairly deep in the lateness at 91 days show i expect better deals at 120 with them ?
